  recently a friend inquired about how to best prepare for a judicial committee hearing from the prospective of the subject individual.

  #1 - Bring booze, and don't share it with the bastards.

  #2 - Lace their water with hallucinogenics prior to your inquisition.

  #3 - Kick them all in the balls when you've heard enough "policy".

  #4 - Kick the dirt off your shoes and NEVER look back.

  What proof is there that the JWs were chosen by Jehovah to be His people?

  what proof is there that the jws were chosen by jehovah to be a "people for his name"?

  growth in numbers is not proof, other religions also have displayed such growth over the last 100 years.. material prosperity is not proof as other religions also have considerable wealth, both in cash, property and real estate.. printing the watchtower and awake!

  magazines certainly is not proof!.

  Disfellowshiping dead people

  i was in the witnesses in my twenties and one time i was over at a house of a woman who needed some help.

  we were cleaning her house, making her some meals and so on.

  all this was to make her life easier, while she dealt with some things in here life.

  Retiring today!

  today is my 60th birthday, so i am now officially retired!

  actually, my last day at work was yesterday, and my colleagues gave me flowers, wine, chocolate and took me out to lunch.. this is the first birthday i've ever had as a non jehovahs witness, and it feels very strange to be even acknowledging it, let alone celebrating.

  i am going out tomorrow evening with trev, linda and a few other fading or former jws for a curry at a local restaraunt, which i'm very much looking forward to.

  if i hear one more jw family member tell me "you know it's the truth", i think i will go f#*$%@g postal !!!!

  my grammy has just been put to rest, and already my parents and my s/i/l have said this to me.

  they know i'm feeling sad, and missing my grammy, and they say, "she's going to be resurrected you know, be happy for her.

  Maybe take a different course ...

  Tell them you had a dream that you and your grandmother was in, and she kept asking you about 1914/1918/1975, the WTS involvement with the UN, and why the "love of the greater number has cooled off". Then Fred Franz came into the dream and kept repeating until you woke up, "if I just had a chance to do it over again." Delilah ask the family, "what do you think that dream meant?"

  What faithful JW's do you pity the most?

  many of us have family in the borg, we are anxious to get them out, .

  we might be very angry with the borg.. but who among the jw do you really just pity?

  is it elders, pioneers, retired folks w/o decent retirement?.

  The children of this cult who have zealous parents - pioneer mom, elder dad, and 4 generations of door bangers. Especially the bright ones who see through the b.s. new light, hypocritical love bombing, and their parents two-faced behavior. Poor kids of cults! Next would be the elderly who await the FDS to tell them they did good! (Good for nothing slaves.)

  i will be interviewing for a position at the university of southern california.

  the pay is not going to be that good to begin with, but i have mitigating factors, my son who is a junior this year, can get in and i won't have to pay a dime towards his tuition.

  his dream is to go to usc and to play for the usc marching band.
