New RBC arrangements/directives

i joined awhile back and haven't posted much - just lurking like many others.

for the past year or so i have been trying my best to fade away sooner rather than later, but the wife and most of our family have decades of involvement in this mess and well, it's difficult.

little by little i have been sowing seeds of doubt and it does seem to be working somewhat.

This is great news! With this site and others reporting the TRUTH, it is just a matter of time before our former brothers and sisters see the LIGHT. Whatever is spoken in secret shall be shouted from rooftops. The activities of the WTS are being shouted. Elite thieves and liars will soon not have a leg to stand on. Not everybody in the borg is stupid, lulled, or oblivious. Look at all the new ones on this site. Once again, keep it up Crooklyn -- you're scattering the flock. The money is stopping. People want an answer for your arrogance.

What is the current position on WT study as a group?

we had a regular group every sunday night for any or all teens back in the day - 60's.

then raising children we had friends or other families on and off, get together for a group pre-study.

With 1 monitor per two people, very few nefarious things are said. With the Bethel spies, rats, and those in fear of what happened to Ray Franz and his cohorts, little deviates from the exact words on the WT pages. Bethel makes Communism look like a holiday!

Letter - Anonymity Required?

i am baptised and wish to write a letter to the brooklyn branch requesting a response to two belief-related issues regarding which i have recently educated myself.

the reply to this letter will likely play a large part in my determining how the rest of my life is lived.

i have decided that whatever i do or do not believe in times to come, i will not disassociate myself.

losing elders in the us puts the organization into quite a dilemma.

they hate large congregations.

but can't split without enough appointed local 'enforcers'.

My District Convention pioneer experiences- I fed my kids from the gutter?

they had pioneered for many years with two kids, the dad worked part time.

they explianed how money was "tight" for them many times.

On that note ...

Before the wife (who escaped) and I served in Southern Belize, we served where the need was greated in Western Mass. No window washing jobs, but a twice a week job cleaning the Holiday Inn lounge after the "world" left from their party. We would count change to put gas in the tank of the old Plymouth station wagon. It was 1975, and the world had to be warned. We got to a point where it was either gas or food, and so we went on a cole slaw diet. Cabbage means uric acid, and lots of cabbage translates to kidney stones. 2 sisters tried to assist with vitamins and herbs, and lo and behold - I was layed low (Satan was the cause). I preached with a fever for 2 weeks, conducted 8 bible studies meanwhile, and finally passed the stones (couldn't miss a meeting if I was "faithful"). Finally my worldly parents had enough, and realized we were killing ourselves; so they sent a grocery truck to the hovel we were living in. See, Jah provided.

My wife and I were serving where the need was greater in Southern Belize (as a result of this blessed appointment, she ran off with a rock guitar player). We were penniless, living in a hut, and we had no electricity or running water. One night when both of us were getting ready for a meeting, we realized we had no tuna fish left, no cans of beans, no tortillas, and no money to take the bus to the meeting. So we prayed and prayed for an answer, and just about then, we heard the bus pass. So we went to the road and hoped for a ride, but no cars. Just about then a wild turkey skirted out from the woods and I chased it, twisted my ankle, and we headed back to the hut. The next day I got a ride from some dope growers to the KH, where I was scolded for not calling (no phone) and missing my talk and part on the S.M. My wife escaped that day, and I returned to the hut after service, and still had no tuna fish, beans, tortillas, or wife. So much for pioneering!

I remember this story from a Special Pioneer - M. Ritchey...

During the colporteur days, she and her partner were witnessing in Northern Ontario, and they had run out of gas by a field. When all of a sudden, a few milk cows got indigestion, and instantly the car started up and they made it to the next town. In the next town they traded 6 of the Judge's books for a few bowls of chili. Now they had gas, and they made it all the way to the next town.

Once while pioneering I had a Circuit Assembly part ... my wife and I were so poor, and I needed a pair of shoes, so a Bible Study saw my worn shoes, and gave me a pair that was under his bed. I was so full of faith and praise. The audience loved the part. The C.O. said, "see how Jehovah provides."

The damn shoe were too small and I ended up with in-grown toe nails which required surgery to take off the nails and remove the roots. It took years to pay off the hospital bill (window washers have no insurance). While in the hospital, I had no vsiitors; as an elder said, "Jehovah's people are busy with the preaching; don't feel sorry for yourself."

one of my best friends ever, an elder of many years had a problem a long time ago (early in elder arrangement).

his wife was very uninterested in bedroom activity, and he just happend to know of some ladies in the hall with a similar problem with their husbands.

a perfect fit.
