an official promise in prayer to not fornicate so that maybe i too can have a special wedding night.

(my boyfriend was surprisingly supportive) i remember reading a scripture that says a promise made to god should be taken very serious.

for those who dont know, apparently this was a prominent member of the bethel family, that commited suicide by jumping from the 4th floor bethel infirmary window....

the red sox are down 3 games to 0 on sunday.

as the hours get late i pull out a comforter from the closet, not realizing the special powers it holds.

the red sox win it in extra innings on a david ortiz home run and comforter on the couch.

Loved the comforter story. I grew up in Bean Town and had desires to play for the Red Sox when I played shortstop at Boston Latin. What a season!

Abaddon- RIGHT ON! You've got it straight. I doubt the scales will be lifted, but you tried (can count time). One character you left out of the wonderful buddies the U.S. has courted, General Noriega. That relationship went sour, he was kidnapped, and now nobody knows where he is. They say in a detetion center in Kendall, Fla., but nobody has heard from him. These guys sure do believe in "Manifest Destiny", or as you call it "Divine Mandate" and their role in that perspective. That wicked doctrine (Manifest Destiny) salves the conscience when getting rich off the killing and plundering, "hell, it's God's will for us to do it, and get rich." Bullshit!

Did you read the book "1984" of Georges Orwell?

this book is one of the best book i've ever read.

it describe well the technics that the watchtower use to manipulate their jehovah's witness.

That line brought back many memories when I read '1984' in school. '1984', a reverse of 1948, and what Orwell projected to happen by then. George wrote a book previous to '1984' that was seminal to many of the thoughts in '1984' - 'Down and out in London & Paris' - anyone read that book? Very insightful to life, societies, and control.

the book, reasoning from the scriptures does not inform the reader on who are the nwt scholars nor their education background.

could someone provide some information concerning the nwt scholars?

M. James Penton quotes Ray's words from COC and adds a bit beginning on page 174 of 'Apocalypse Delayed.' It has to be remembered that these guys, especially Freddy used established texts - Biblia Hebraica for OT and Hort & Westcott for NT. Of interest, I went into the 1985 Interlinear and investigated the textual changes from the 1969 version, especially since they now note the use of Nestle text and the UBS text. Big Deal! Liars! These additions were only to reinforce the notes relating to 1 Jn 5:7.8. So for all of you out there, there are NO differences in the text of the 1969 and 1985 Interlinear, aside from differences in the English translation in the right hand area of the page. What a bunch of bullshit artists - Scholarship my ass!

Wild Turkey or Jim Beam?

i think i'm partial to wild turkey but i do like jim beam (black label).

i used to like jack daniels but they've lowered the proof so i refuse to buy it now.

one of my friends is convinced they both taste like piss...i don't quite understand that...i mean they both do what they're supposed and they don't taste bad to me....any preferences out there?
