Interesting tidbit from a bethalite
by Princess Daisy Boo inso my "bethalite" sister calls me last night for a chat (now i must digress slightly and say that conversations with my sister are few and far between - we have very little to say to each other and any calls to each other are merely out of duty) .
after all the small talk, she tells me that she was doing stocktake in the tuckshop for a change instead of the usual housekeeping job that she is meant to do.
i ask her why and she tells me that all the dept's within bethal who keep a supply of products have to do a stocktake in preparation for the big courtcase on friday.

Elders really can keep personal matters confidential, right?
by oompa inless than one week after meeting with two elders who had been told of my visiting this site, a good friend called me.
he said his mother (age 73), in a different city from me, called him and told him she heard i was now an apostate.
now how the hell did that happen?

All of us were once amazed, now most of us are amused. The majority of these men (called "elders") are power mongers and idiots. They have little self respect (different from self righteous) due to being beaten by meaner men called "COs". With little self respect, how can these men respect others?

He probably was tired of beating on the flock, and was tired of Brooklyn's demands, as well as tired of a life that was fake. Keep us updated on his exit. How much more can these men take with a smile from a gang of ballbusters? Listen Brooklyn, your older men are dying off, and your younger men are running away! It's not about doctrine, it's about beating the crap out of the sheep, and then laughing in luxurious enclaves.

NO is a good word. Just remember that! It doesn't mean being difficult, but when necessary, use it. "NO, I'm not going to pay you for a crappy job - get it right." You help others, as well as yourself, when refusing to agree to one way events/people/situations. NFW are harsher words, but also necessary at times.
