Circuit Overseers still going to be around?
by cabasilas inawhile back there was a rumor posted that the wt society was going to do away with circuit overseers.
any substantiation yet or was this just someone's speculation?
seems like i've seen references to them in the publications since then so i'm wondering if this is a rumor that needs demolition?

Min - it was those friggin apostates who were telling the G.B. that the Urim and Thummin said cancel the book studies. It was realized just this week by Br. Boner that the boneheads handling the Urim and Thummin were reading the results from left to right, and instead... there will be 2 new weekly meetings coming. Check out the Xmas KM.
Min - it's a bitch - Left Handed Urim and Thummin, just like Swedenborg's Bible and/or Russell's Epiphanies.

1925 merely an expressed opinion. I need verification.
by Fatfreek init's important to verify the complete 1926 watch tower quotation that follows: .
answer: certainly they have not returned.
no one has seen them, and it would be foolish to make such an announcement.

You have to be joshing Leolaia - it was just hearsay, gossip, and innuendo -
The Colporters made these things up;
while trading chickens for Watchtowers
& gasoline for the New Age Magazine.

Boring bookstudy book...which one was the worst?
by White Dove ini remember the old timers saying that the red babylon book was the hardest to understand.. in my memory, i'd have to say the isaiah books and daniel book were the most involved and boring.. the revelation book had gorgeous pictures in it (the writing was horribly boring), so i just looked at them, and i was 22 at the first study of it!.

Haggai and Zechariah, circa 1973. More horse shit than be contained in a house. Anti-typical up the wazoo, GB are gods, 1918/1919, Cedar Points was known before the founding of the world, and crazy Freddie at his insanities without hindrance.

Nov. WT: Paradise of Pleasure
by cameo-d ini was reading through the nov. wt that ynot posted.
there was an article that referred to the garden of eden as the "paradise of pleasure".
that wording did not set right with me.

As a JW pioneer I preached "paradise", but I just didn't see it for me, or feel it. So I began partaking, which made more sense, and nearly freaked out the congo. I partook a couple of years, before I saw the Harlot for who she was - Crooklyn.
Feeding friggin figs to crocks - yeah, what a crock!

WT backtracking fast on Book Study -High Gas Prices
by stillajwexelder inso tonight the congregation discussed the front page of the october km -the new meeting schedule.
straight away it was emphasized it was not because of high gas prices that the meetings were being reduced.
it was pointed out that in parts of the world the brothers do not have cars so it was not high gas prices.

I'm back to the post I made -- the lawyers cancelled the Bible's injunction to gather. James Brown said the L word - "Liability" and all of the members of the GB fell to the ground, and scales were removed. The Judge once ran the maze, now the Brooklyn Barristers run the maze. Imagine being a slave to these bozos. Load light! Yeah, now!

If C.T. Russell were alive today...
by gaiagirl inif c.t.
russell were alive today, what teachings would he still recognize in the church he started?
what teachings would his church disfellowship him for?
-
lawrence
C.T. would be scurrying Egypt for the "perfect pyramid", as he was being disfellowshipped for being a false prophet, a liar, a fornicator, and a bombastic thief. Sounds just like his protege, eh?
