i feel sad for everyone.. i think about how unique every person is.. i remember good and happy family times together.. my heart aches.. that we are a family at odds.. i wish we lived closer,.
and were really a family.. we understand that your faith is strong.. but we have a different faith.. hostility and discord are so painful.. now the one that fathered us all.. has gone beyond our call.. there is a wedding in the family.. everyone will be there.. all except the paul family in wisconsin.. we need to forget about rules.. also all the regulations,.
and go on as a family, with unconditional love,.

I too hope someone will read it to him. Our lives are so short-like the good book says "man born of woman is few days and full of trouble. Life is hard enough without these religious separations. Also it is wrong for one religion to shun someone else because they are not the same faith. My prayer is that all will become one as Jesus and God our Father are one.

I am sorry for the loss of your father-in-law. In the Eastern part of the U.S.A. it is commonly called when a person is a Jehovah Witness "a Jehovah" I heard the "grave digger" say that they leave their people in the cemetary without a stone. The grave digger thought it was because the Witnesses don't believe people have a soul. I am sorry and meant to offend no one. I mean the ashes of the person after they are cremated are left in the cemetary. This I am told is a fact. I hope and pray it isn't so.....

Years ago when I was a Jehovah they didn't allow cremation in the United States. Sometimes they kept it secret that the suicidal person was a Jehovah. They use funerals to try to lure people into the religion. It is common knowledge that the Witnesses just put their loved ones ashes in the cemetary to avoid paying for a stone. I have been told of this by others.

I am sorry for the crummy way you were treated. You do not deserve to be treated with so much disrespect. Especially after what happened to you. It is so sad that they break up families with their disfellowshipping doctrine. Have you contacted Love and Norris Attorney's. I do think in time they will have law suits due to the disfellowshipping business. I am sure many would agree that those teachings cause suicide and depression. I hope and pray you are alright Singing Man, if you need a friend let me know. It will be interesting to know exactly how many families have been broken up due to bogus teachings.

i woman in mesa, arizona whom i've known for over 30 years recently died in her mobile home.
83 years old and too poor to afford the added electricity of air conditioning on her $500/month social security check, she was found dead in her chair with a fan blowing on her.
the elders said they didn't know.
That is so wrong to neglect our elderly. Do you remember all the articles on taking care of our parents, grandparents ect? The best thing they could do is forget about that "good news" and show they have a heart for others. Too bad some of that money couldn't be used to help these people that so desparately need help. How about just visiting them or calling them to see how they are.

Yes, Pat's life was very sad. However we can all remember her for her courage and for her bravery and that she cared so much for others to stand out in front of "Ted" and ask him the question I would have asked if I had the honor to be there . God bless Pat and her family and may she continue with her work up there with God.
