  hi all, am i right in thinking that the wts teach that the "acceptance door" for being an annoited closed in 1935 or have i got mixed up on this?......

  Hi Buster........you are indeed correct, I'm sooner or later going to instigate a conversation with my Dub family, not an argument but an observation say and want to use this, Ray Franz wrote something on this but Im away from home and havent got the book, it said something along the lines of since the death of the apostles, on average only 70 ave been accepted in to this class, based on the 144,000, minus how many are alive today, divided by nearly 2000 years, I'm thinking this statement will at last get them thinking.

  WTS Secret Police

  heres a story of what happened to me at a district convention this year.. an unbaptised publisher and i travelled to wolverhampton district convention in england.

  this wasnt our district but id been on holiday and had missed my own district convention (how unspiritual of me).

  so me and this friend decided to go to this convention and was also hoping to meet a friend there.. on the saturday morning we were delayed in traffic and we eventually arrived at 11.30am, paid our 3 for parking (i wonder if they had the use of car parks for free?

  Great Post Pleasure Dome................I used to go to Wolverhampton Assemblies so I can picture the scene quite well............my fav story of the assemblies there, was myself and another brother would sit in opposite stands with binoculars and would try and find each other, If I found him first, he would obviously see me looking at him through binoculars and I would win. We would change position over lunch and play again in the pm, When we found each other we would secretly flick the V's to each other LOL

  I da'd myself back in the mid eighties and it was only until July this year that I thought about typing in JW in Google, found this place and couldn't believe I'd spent the best part of 20 years trying to deal with my dub experience on my own. I have to say for the first three weeks of coming on this site I counld stop crying, seeing all these wonderful people here who had similar experiences. Since I gorged myself on the info available and eventually will stand up against my dub family,

  just wanted to let everyone know that you all have a new friend!my name is christopher from verona italy,and even after loosing friends.

  and my girlfriend of ten years over my studying and putting to practice the bibles values,i realise now that it doesn't matter beacuase i am so happy that i found the truth and jehovah loves me!!

  !....i am still going through a changing period but every day is geting better and i will soon be baptized.i always new that there was someting seriously wrong in the world when i was leading a very imoral life,even though i have been succesful in work and have made plenty of money i was never happy but did'nt know what it was until i met a brother..i hope to find lots of new friends here,so please everyone don't hold back!

  Hi breeze..........yeah at work and lucky enough to be able to wack the laptop down a phone line and get on here, currently in Perth, Scotland for a couple of weeks........what do I do LOL, I seem to walk around with a piece of paper in my hand and a furrowed brow, seems to work, no one ever comes and ask me to do something !!!!
