  Dub spotting

  ever since i 'de-troofed' myself i've taken quite a bit of pleasure in spotting jw's when i'm out and about.

  i'm getting pretty good at it too.

  i'm on my way home from work when i notice this white van turn in front of me.

  Hehehehe way to funny....yeah I do a bit of Dub spotting myself, here in Germany street witnessing is popular, but usually the ones I see walk down the high street with their Watchtower mags rolled up and usually combine it with a bit off shopping, I kid you not.....they make NO attempt to talk to people.......last Saturday I passed a JW standing in the street with just one Mag held up, no bible, book bag anything, hilarious lol. I passed him three times, eye contact was made but not a hint of him making a witness to me......Sheeeesh the WT just cant get the staff these days lol

  Hey pleasuredome.....yup I'm back and I'm bad LOL....works keeping me way too busy....you still around AdelaZ?.......I'm still in Germany for the moment, but come back twice a month for the weekend...it would be great if us east midlanders could hook up on a Saturday afternoon soon....maybe Derby/Nottingham?, matters not to me......I'd need a couple of weeks to arrange things this side, any body want to suggest a date?

  basically it deals with babylonian astronomy, king lists, chronicles, synchronisms etc.

  its seems to me over the years as a dub i have met some very creative (albeit eccentric) folks in the org.

  whats your thoughts on this?

  do you think that the structure of the jws makes people more creative?

  Welcome to the board boy@crossroads..... it's been a few years since I was in the org, so things might of changed, but looking back, I found that the JW's were the most uncreative people I'd ever been around, due to the continued reliance on the Org as an aurthority, for an example in the area of employment, reaching out to excel wasn't the going rate back then......

  ummm has anybody else had this thought, the wine at the memorial symbolises the blood of jesus, and yet the so called annoited drink it, quite contradictory to their blood doctrine, even if though it s a symbolic gesture.. jgull.

  Good question.........when I left, and made it clear I wouldn't be coming back, my whole jw family said that " I didnt leave, Jehoooovah removed from the cong" hehehe dont you just love that WT mentality, hehehe
