Witnesses are like a "typical male"... Always trying to "fix" things or "solve" everything.

we all know the cliche that "men never really listen or sympathise, they just try to solve or fix things"?.

often people just need to vent or discuss issues..."get them off their chest".

i have noticed that jws are just like a thoughtless cliched man..... when speaking with people in the community, they don't really listen, they just look for a way to solve the issue!.

I don't like some of the comments recently on skin color...

it was just ok for me...it could of been great...but the writer chose to attack the male gender also...the husband. So was the husband the problem or?

If she truly put the kingdom first, and not married! No man problems... No children to shun....see...now there would be a valid complaint.

Not diminishing the abuse that women suffer but put the blame where it belongs...being raised or controlled by cult leaders.

Thanks Terry!...there are many good points here...this one #20 stood out for me.

20.You will never become who you want to be if you keep blaming everyone else for who you are now.

I have to figure out how to apply this since I work for and are surrounded by JWs at work.

I feel like Dexter...always having to pretend I'm "normal"... "like them"....it's hard pretending to be of the Jw mindset.

That's what makes post like this valuable, the info is from those that say "we never said that".

It saddens me that like myself...millions put their hope, faith, and trust in the WTS teachings.

Lives lost, opportunities not taken and many with little time left to undo the affects of misplaced trust.

Will the JW.Org Site make a difference ?

it will obviously make a difference to how jw's obtain their literatrash, they will have to download and print it all themselves before long.. it will make a small difference to the dtod work, they will now refer even genuine questions and interest etc to the site, not taking the opportunity to "witness" on the initial call at all.

this has been happening already to a degree.. the difference i am mainly interested in is the capture of new suckers in to the borg.. we will be able to see when we get 2014's figures, sometime next year, what the rate of increase was over the last ten years.. phizzy the prophet predicts that the rate of increase over the next ten years will not be significantly up.

probably down, but certainly, i feel, not so different from the last ten.. should i be around in ten years to do so, i will wish to ask jw's:.
