so my wife and i have been in the process of fading for a few months now as per my original post here.
about a week ago, i was browsing some ex-jw facebook groups when i saw a post that linked to the crisis of conscience book.
i said "f@(k it" and hit share on it.. a few hours later, i get a long text letter from my mom (who was a fb friend of mine) telling me the typical "good luck finding friends in the world" and how we have "nothing in common anymore"; basically, it was a 'farewell' text.
My mother said the exact same thing a few years ago, once she realized was no longer truly interested in the truth. To be honest, that kind of hurt me. But seeing as someone else's mom said the same thing, it's just a stigma.
And yes, you ignited this by posting the CC book. OnTheWayOut has great advice to this situation if you truly want to fade. But like someone else had posted, this is basically on your 'permanent record' and they will always judge you after this. Good luck.

it seems like the wt society makes good use of humor to lure people into the sect during the meetings, ca, annual meets, etc.

Now even after knowing that this organization is full of chewstone, I remain nervous when commenting. I thought I would not be scared anymore since knowing it is all rubbish but I'm just as nervous as ever or even more. Maybe since I know it is phony?
By the way, any tips on how to minimize nervousness when commenting period?

Suppose you are right, Steve. But of course you can do tons of work and it will not mean anything at all and that goes with the witnesses because they are false prophets. Trying to conceal the most popular book in history and the sacred word of god is just unethical to me for people who claim that they are the one true religion of the world. I see where you are coming from, but the followers of the sect are only doing all that stuff because the governing body instructs them. Sure they believe it is all god's work but we know it is not. The people on here do a good job of finding information without restriction unlike the witnessess, in which most are pushing themselves roughly in order to please their leaders and, or demonstrate they're faithfulness to their god of good.

if so what is it about their articles there that are opening jw eyes to an awakened state where so many others have tried and failed to awaken jws?.
what do you foresee could hapen as a result of pressure from anointedjw.org and their articles on the gb's attitude and their reactions?.
The website seems to be from here. By combining all the other apostate pages, such as this site, you have a real defying threat to the governing body. They will be working harder to keep their followers busy for sure.
the ratio of non-witnesses to witnesses worldwide is roughly 1000:1.. i feel that most people would give up their own life if they were faced with a situation where their own death would result in continued life for a thousand other people.
inside, we all know that it would be the right thing to do.. but the witnesses are anxiously awaiting the death of 1000 people per witness so that they can have a better life.. people would have to be awfully bad before i would refuse to die for a thousand of them.
a lot worse than they are right now.
Sad how the witnesses are tricked into believing such garbage. Who would want to live in a world governed by someone who just murdered tons of people?

This kind of stuff just proves that they are a cult. No real believer in the Christ and God would ever hide the holy book from people just to get them in their religion. steve2, that just proves our point. If it was the true religion of God, then they would have no need to snip the bible because they have the truth. Plus the bible is suppose to be the basis of all their beliefs and the word of god.

Indeed it is all about the green paper. The WatchTower society used to give out bibles freely and personally equipped people with a copy. Now they want all that to be up to the individual. They probably will not even ask if he or she has a bible. If they were seeking to help people find the truth, they would be making sure to provide bibles whole-heartedly. It is all about the Governing Body as of present.
