  ", it made me wonder if possibly the elders asign someone from each hall to watch sites like this to see if there are anyone posting that tell experiences they may recognize.

  on saturday i had to get my driver's license.

  the clerk asked if i wanted to register, and i took her up on the offer.

  i have often thought about joining the ranks of voters but never felt strong enough about an issue to go through the process.

  i've already saved $22.30.

  i also know that i will never touch any tobacco product again.. for those who want to know how i did it, jehovah didn't have anything to do with it.

  E-mail response from an old dub friend......

  okay, so i suppose i asked for this...but regardless i'm ready to puke!

  last week i e-mailed an old "dub" friend from another city.

  she's had some health issues and i hadn't heard from her for a few months, and wanted to know how she was doing....her brother also recently got married and i asked about that as well.

  My Story

  i was adopted into a jw family in southern california.

  my birth mother gave me up after 6 months (the terms mom & dad refer to my adoptive/real parents).

  she gave me up due to the fact that she already had a three year old boy, and back in the late sixties it was not as socially acceptable to be a single mother.

  Reading...and waiting. I too grew up in a home with "real" JW parents. They were true believers and lived the "truth." Interested to see the story of your exit.

  I suspect there are a few posters being watched, but the average JWD'er doesn't get any notice. I don't think anyone from the local congregations would ever be assigned to watch, that would be too dangerous, but there are almost certainly a few here and there that take it upon themselves to come to places like this, looking for someone to "turn in."
  Don't get too worried. Some people have been outed here, but not too many, and usually only the most obvious. I've been posting here for 3 years, am fairly well-known in the area, my family is EXTREMELY well known, both here and in Bethel, lots of identifying information about me, yet I have not been "outed," yet anyways. ;)
  There are plenty of others like me who are identifiable, but haven't been identified by WT. I'd say you're more likely to be turned in by someone you slip and say something "apostate" to in real life, then they rat you out.

  Placed 6 magazines this morning

  just thought i would let you all know, that as part of my ongoing theocratic warfare strategy i placed 6 magazines this morning.

  The magazines are their primary tools of propaganda. They can have an effect, and they have. There are many stories of people who converted based on the original placement of a Watchtower or Awake and not much else. All it takes it the right kind of vulnerability to that propaganda and one is caught in the net. I wouldn't want to be responsible for another person being enslaved to the Watchtower, simply because I had to keep up appearances. I can understand you not wanting to tear apart your family, but have you considered that your continued propagandizing has the potential to tear apart someone else's family?

  I'm so o o o o Tired!

  for a couple years i've been blaming it on lack of sleep, not enough sunshine, too much pressure from my job, earwax buildup, poor blood or anything else i could think of.. .

  but now i found out the real reason i'm tired because i'm overworked.. .

  the population of this country is 295 million.. 162 million are retired.. .
