Still can't find this quote. Anybody have a page #?
edited to add: I just found it. pages 59-60. There's some other choice stuff in there too. For 6-10 year olds... yuck.

pork chop and in_between_days seem to think i am the only one on this board who is bitter and feels occasionally violent toward the borg...what do you think?.
i have been called low life scum because i made a comment (after being provoked) about not caring if all jws died of antrax.
honestly, there are days i really feel that way.
Okay, just my devalued for inflation $.02...
I think there is valid psychological reasons to express rage and anger, even if those statements are violent. However, if you use a public forum to do so, or make such statements in a large crowd, or otherwise write them down where they can be viewed, there are legal ramifications. Threat-making is not generally something to be taken lightly, even if the vast majority of people KNOW one would never carry out those threats.
The expression of rage, however, (minus the threats) can be healing. And a public forum dealing with a specific target of that rage can be a very appropriate place to vent. Maybe some caution in HOW we say things is in order. "I have so much rage, I wouldn't be sorry if they were dead." is a much different statement than "I just want to go shoot them all with rifles, and burn the bodies." Rage IS irrational, even if there is good reason to have it. So irrational statements are to be expected.
Okay, shutting up now.

Here's something for you too:
they certainly do, and this is forever being thrown in my face.
however, when jesus said his desciples would have love amongst themselves, surely he didnt mean it would just be amongst themselves?
surely it would expand further than that?
Just thought of another thing. The problem is, when someone in the congregation really DOES have love. Yes, being the exception, but still. If you find one person like that in your congregation, it is HELL to extract yourself from the borg. You feel so guilty pointing up the unloving people because you have this stellar example of love. Of course then you leave, or get df'd. And they have a tender heart, and they cry for you and genuinely mean it. But they still never speak to you again. It's sad really, how indoctrinated even the kindest person can become, given enough time. WTS can even take away their naturally big heart, and mangle their ability to love.
Odrade

AND I find it disgraceful that they continually harp on the types of love "according to the greek:" agape, storge, philia, eros. They use those terms to further indoctrinate one on just how much love it is appropriate to show others. So if you want to shun someone, you can say you still have love for them since agape is love based on "principle" and "Jehovahs principles say it is LOVING to shun in order to bring them to repentance."
I repeat...whatever. bleh.

and always remembering that if you do ANYTHING "inappropriate" then they take love away. Low hour publisher, sorry, have to work on meeting night? clothes too trendy? suit too old? don't own a suit, just slacks and a sports jacket? horrors! we can't love you QUITE as much now.
Love...whatever.

Viv...
my brother died suddenly.
his funeral was in the catholic church.
his 2 jw children and their offspring actually stood in the back of the church, behind a glass wall, and observed the service.
Yeah, lmao! But it was so funny because the minister knew there were some JW relatives going to be present, so he made this big sermon all about heaven and hell. OMG! It was like a JW memorial service. 5 minutes for the person 25 minutes for indoctrination. But maybe that was because this particular preacher was a favored target of Dubs out to debate doctrine. He was THE Babylon the Great for our town. Poor guy.
Then they played some def leppard tune or something because the deceased HATED "Wind beneath my wings" or maybe it was Aerosmith..
