when jws have called us we say we are amazing, everything is awesome much to their shock.

If you need to stay in the religion and maintain appearances then show a complete submissive attitude to the elders, align your thoughts and actions with them when in their presence and keep your personal opinions to yourself! Be careful.

However I do applaud you for what permanent positive impact you two may have had on the younger people you spoke to in order to encourage them to go to college. Perhaps in the future it will seem less persuasive of you to instead ask thought provoking questions and get other JW's to think critically rather than offer advice directly counter to WT teachings.

I would love to answer the door naked and try to give them all hugs and welcome them inside with big smiles. Surely they would decline and leave rapidly after failed attempts to get me to clothe myself in my own house and probably never come back AND I would FINALLY be put on a permanent do not call list to prevent females from having their eyes burst in flames.

Using world wide work funds to settle child abuse court cases and claim that the elders have "no duty to inform" the congregation of pedophiles. for the past three years, my husband and i have been watching these sermons by remarkable worldwide speakers.

the biblical truths we have learnt from their presentations, in such a short period of time most definitely tip the scales compared to the truth the jw.org led me to believe i had for over 20 plus years of my life.

thanks to these videos, we have now found the truth and the truth is jesus christ (john 14:6).

Nicola, God used His people to fight his battles on several occasions in the old testament. You are calling him weak!? Also you do realize that claiming that God would be weak if he used humans to do his dirty work applies to God using his legions of angels to do his dirty work as well right? Looks weak both ways huh?

God of Love? You must only worship Jesus then, God version 2.0. The nice one. Because OG god killed upwards of 10 million people in the old testament. This is a God of war and hatred because he is so jealous.

This is a false analogy. I wish the camera man had pointed this out. Jesus and the "holy spirit" appointed Judas knowing he would betray in the end. Jesus foretold it. It had to be done to fulfill prophecy for Jesus to die for mans sins. It was predestined in the sense that Judas' future decisions and utilization of "choice" was known in advance and accepted. This was an appointment of a "bad person" in order to accomplish a larger "good cause."

Mr. Elder needs to now tell us how an elder in the 21st century is fulfilling Gods divine plan by fondling little children ;) Where's the holy spirit now!? Must be a dabbling sort of holy spirit that intervenes at random and many times not when it morally should. hmm

I stopped reading at page 6 but EdenOne, You keep saying that Atheism makes claims to Gods non-existence. This is false. There may be atheist people who go so far as to make such claims but Atheism as a whole, by definition, and according to the many atheists I know, make no such claims to non-existence. Any atheist who goes so far as to try and prove a negative has made a serious logical mistake. Don't forget the burden of proof lies with the one making a positive claim (a claim of somethings existence). An atheist by definition just sits back and waits for proof and evidence and until then lacks belief in any deity until such evidence arises. They DO leave room for God.

Superman is very powerfull, that doesnt mean hes going to or is even required to step in to avert a city from being encased by lava, flooded, run down by gang violence, or stop a rape from occuring. However how would you judge Superman if he decided to not use his powers for good and instead sit back and watch and judge people from his high chair and offer eternal life to some after death? Does this still make him a good guy?

True, not saying Jesus was perfect and he did talk of coming destructions he would bring for non belief. Just making the contrast between religions to emphasize how and why Islam is and should be considered "the motherload of bad ideas."

Just adding to the list of murders ordered by Muhammad. Its easier to dismiss violence in the bible and go with what Jesus did and said as he didn't murder and advocate murder directly to his followers, he taught the opposite even in regards to enemies trying to kill you. Contrast that with Muhammad and what he did and said combined with the Quran verses posted here thusfar. Can you agree JD that because of the wording of scripture and types of prophets that Islam should by no surprise exhibit a higher frequency of groups like ISIS than Christianity based on human game theory over time?
