  Faith is Mandatory?

  faith by definition when applied to god is: belief in him without proof or evidence of "things seen.

  can you be saved by god or at armageddon if you do not have faith, or if you doubt god exists?

  according to jw's and most christians that is a big fat no!

  Meeting with friends Pastor

  my close friend has stopped attending meetings about 2 yrs ago.

  is df'd.

  and attends memorial and a meeting here and there to appease his mother enough that she will still communicate with him.

  Anti-JW billboard going up in Texas

  the first ever billboard has been crowd funded on reddit and will be going up.

  i'm curious to know if it will cause a spark in any jw's who already have questions or doubts and lead them to research into the child abuse cases and lead them to the thought that the wt and gb are not inspired or gods mouthpiece.

  at the very least it will provide people a topic of conversation and questions to the jw's who knock on their door: "so whats this whole sex abuse in kingdom halls thing about i saw on the billboard down the road?

  sometimes certain topics here can get redundant given enough time naturally.

  i have created topics only to get various links to older threads in answer as others have as well.

  has anyone gone elsewhere to spread the knowledge they have gained from here as break from debating and arguing the same things over and over as i see here?

  Blood in whose army!?

  used this method to logically convince my friend who is also dfd of one of many reasons as to why i shall never return and he agreed.

  Don't Question GOD! (aka the governing body)

  did a simple search in the wt library for words like, "question," "questioning," "doubts/ing,"obey," "understand.".

  these are listed in order of occurence oldest to newest (up to 2012 as my library is 2012 version).

  "if we have love for jehovah and for the organization of his people we shall not be suspicious, but shall, as the bible says, 'believe all things,' all the things that the watchtower brings out"qualified to be ministers (1955) p.156.
