i hate jehovahs witnesses pure and simple.
i know hate is a strong word and people often try to encourage one to find an alternative manner of description.

Hi VIVAMUS,My Mother died in my arms in the hospital.The doctors said that she was in a comma.Her last words uttered were "Jesus,Mary and Joseph over and over until she breathed her last breath.
Maybe this was because of her Catholic upbringing.I always wondered about this .When a person is in a comma,is the conscious mind still alert while in this comma?
While in this comma,was she aware of my presence,was she aware that she was soon to depart,hence,crying out audibly the words Jesus,Mary and Joseph to receive her? I have always been troubled by this.

in whatever stage of leaving the organization that you're in, do you find yourself bitter?
Reborn,My sentiments exactly.However, I have some friends who are still ensnared by the Society and wish that they could come out from under their grip.So, I don't hate some individuals who don't know that they are caught up in a cult.
But,like Farkel expressed it ,its the whole organization that is despicable and should be dissolved by whatever means it takes to do it,freeing up all those trapped inside for whatever reason they choose to stay,family,finances,age ,etc.
Reborn, I know that you don't hate individuals and its against the Society that you make your feelings known,in this I agree.
Minimus,I will be bitter to the end ,like christ in the Bible,righteous indignation is proper toward those who would misrepresent God and what he stands for.Christ was loving ,kind, compassionate,giving and forgiven,self sacrificing and gave of himself to whomever approached him.
In this the Society has failed to no end.The whips of Christ will come upon them.

i was just thinking to myself the other day, why were chapters and verses in the bible, but precious few other books?
most people would say to make it easier to read, easier to locate "scriptures".
i mean, when you write a letter to a friend, do you break it down into chapters and verses?
Your right ED, king james,new king james,catholic douay,new international Bibles do not break up matt.24:45-51,.The new world trans. does.
The Society is trying to interpret these verses to apply to them as a faithful slave group.Rather in context it applies to individuals and their faithfulness or unfaithfulness.

if you were disfellowedshipped after you made an appeal by the appeal committee,you are not yet disfellowedshipped!.
in the elder flock book there is a little known "right" that the rank and file are not told when they lose their appeal.. that is that you have the "right"to appeal an appeal.you can request the appeal committee to forward their decision to the branch office and have them review all the decisions once again.. however ,when the appeal committee hides this "right"from you and does not inform you about this "right"there is an error in judgment on their part.. hence you are "not"disfellowedshipped when denied this "right"as outlined in the flock book for elders to follow when hearing an appeal.. i know that as far as the announcement that is made prior to this "right"everyone will treat you as such,not knowing that there has been a miscarriage of justice against you.. it is true that the branch office may uphold the appeal decision,but, that is not the issue here.. has anyone ever used this "right" or,been told of it by the appeal committee and had their decisions overturned.in the case of a family member we were not told.. blueblades

according to the bible here is what god says about us.. the man has become like one of us,throw him out of the garden,don't let him live forever.. i regret that i even made man.i am going to wipe him out!.
the inclination of the heart of man is bad from his youth up,so i am not going to call evil down upon him anymore,i'll just let him grow old get sick and die!.
there is nothing that they may have in mind to do,let's confuse their language,that will slow them down until bill gates comes along!.

ok, maybe not a real scandal, but this really bugs the hell out of me!
in short, the kingdom hall i went to as child and teen, is being sold to a church.
my mother (still active) informed me of this.
Since all k.h.'s are dedicated to Jehovah they belong to HIM! Since our dedication is a valid one,so too is the k.h. dedication.Therefore ,the Society has no right to sell a k.h.that has been dedicated to Jehovah.
Could the Levites sell the Tabernacle,or, the Temple to Babylon?

My comments demonstrate that I don't assume the Bible to be the inspired word of God.I said ,"According to the Bible God said this about us".It was only a small portion of what writers claim God said about man.There is much,much more.
.However,I have stopped looking to the Bible for answers and I am widening out looking elsewhere,including what others have written on this board about in my search for the meaning of life.
