Caliber, First, you are now making an assertion that I merely glanced at what you wrote. That's not true. Secondly, you are claiming it's too difficult to explain why it's wrong and that is ALSO not true. What you asked for in your previous post was to explain what the uncertainty principle is. I didn't do that and I am still not going to do that. You have access to Google if you really want to know. My job isn't "explain things to Caliber that he/she won't bother to lookup".

A medieval question for you, if you believe in god....
by snare&racket inmany ancient believers of god used cognition to 'think' their way from belief to atheism.
what initially seems a silly question to reason over, can actually destroy a whole theology.. here is a question made famous by 'saint' thomas aquinas, believers in a almighty god with unlimited ability, please have a think about this..... the omnipotence paradox:.
"could an omnipotent being create a stone so heavy that even he could not lift it?

Omnipotent as used of God does not mean there is absolutely nothing that he is incapable of doing. It simply means that he is the most powerful.
Omni means "all", not "the most".
It just seems to me that the paradox reaks of smart alec technicality capitalizing on the fact that omnipotent is somewhat of a misnomer.
That would be a surprise to the religions that subscribe the "all powerful" view of God.
Heisenberg came to the conclusion that quantum events cannot be predicted, all freed electrons behave as if they are
being influenced by outside variable or force... uncertainty principal. Therefore even science recognizes an outside force.
That's not at all what the uncertainty principle says....

the bible and its prophecies
by Crazyguy ini have been doing a lot of research on the bible and its roots so to speak and its becoming clearer that the jews like other races took gods and stories from others and made them their own.
its also become clear that many of the books were written later then stated, like daniel probably written about a hundred years before christ and some of it maybe even after.
but what i don't get is the prophecies.

That's not necessarily a bi-directional or 1:1 relationship, Kate.

More woo, failed predictions and nastiness from the hardcore beleivers saying how terrible atheists are. Why is it that people acting the worst are always the ones saying they have God and are loving?

by Jon Preston ini just finished the episode about the extinctions and the tree of life and how life evolved.

I just think it's arrogant to think 100% of current accepted scientific knowledge is correct now.
Of course. That's not at all what science is about or what any good scientist thinks. That's why they still do science.

For all your pomp and arrogance, perhaps, O learned one, you can first tell us just what an "anti-Semite" is.
Says the guy who claims the Bible says things it doesn't.
