i used to consider sharks to be evidence for creation - and against evolution because it was stated that they are largely unchanged after millions of years ( hence, 'what evolution?')..

religious minded atheist : an athiest who is willing to see how religious idiom connects to science and that ordinary people theorise (theorise as in seek and form explanatory frameworks for themselves) as much as scientists do and are experts in their own lives and in their arguments.
But that's already a field of study and had nas nothing to do with whether one is an atheist or not.

why are jws so afraid of apostates?
their view of apostates seems to be out of the realm of the ordinary, the natural.
its as if the words of apostates are supernatual or spiritistic as if apostates are some kind of jedi knights who can slightly wave their hands or twitch their eyes and bring one under a spell.
Rank and file JWs are afraid of apostates because the GB tells them to be. The GB is afraid of them because if the JWs DO talk to them, they will start losing members faster than Denver lost the Superbowl.
