So now you're the one telling us how to get faith and setting the bar for telling how good it is?
Religion is a tool for the egomaniac and a crutch for the weak.
1- pray to god (whomever you may imagine him to be) asking for understanding.
2- study the background about the bible (from non-religious sources) to see where it came from.
3- discard (or at least set aside) chuyrch claims and dogma.. 4- read it, looking up archaeological/historical sources about the places and peoples referred to.

as we know, nebuchadnezzar could not conquer the island of tyre, so he could not fulfill what was predicted in ezekiel chapter 26. many years later, ezekiel admitted that the prediction failed in chapter 29:.
17 and it came to pass in the twenty-seventh year, in the first month, on the first day of the month, that the word of the lord came to me, saying, 18 son of man, nebuchadnezzar king of babylon caused his army to labor strenuously against tyre; every head was made bald, and every shoulder rubbed raw; yet neither he nor his army received wages from tyre, for the labor which they expended on it.
19 therefore thus says the lord god: surely i will give the land of egypt to nebuchadnezzar king of babylon; he shall take away her wealth, carry off her spoil, and remove her pillage; and that will be the wages for his army.
And the fact remains there are still people living in both cities, Perry. Just another failed prophecy.

You come to this forum to know what your old lover is up to, though I wonder if her words ever prove to be true will you run back to her - some of you without a doubt wouldn't hesitate.
Why is it that when people tell me what I think or how I feel they are always laughably and hilariously wrong?
i am currently an skeptic, but i have to admit that i can't assure that all the stuff of early christianity was false.. for instance, we know that the genuine letters of paul were written before the destruction of jerusalem.
so, paul affirmed that jesus resurrected, though he was not there when it supposedly happened.
but, if jesus did not resurrect, why didn't the jews expose this falsehood?.
Plenty of facts to consider here.
You clearly don't know what facts are.
Jesus didn't stay dead. This was the lighning rod that set the Roman world on fire through EYE WITNESS TESTIMONY.
Case in point. As a side note, you also have a horrible understanding of history.
my c drive is running out of space.
and to my surprise the low disk space problem persists after i free up disk space on my computer.
i uninstalled a lot of programs.i thought that i have free space on my c drive.
You can try :)
IE is integrated into Windows, you literally cannot uninstall it.

It's disk, not disc. Memory is not the same as disk (disc) space. Go into explorer, right click on the drive, properties, choose disk cleanup. Empty the recycle bin, buy an external USB hard drive or thumb drive and move old files there or use Google drive or Dropbox and move old data there instead. Uninstall anything you don't use.

Prologos unfortunately economics wasn't my major but I think todays financial climate is different to the '30's' in that nations (USA and allies) are burdened with astronomical amounts of debt.
So you aren't an expert in economics, but we should listen to your explanation of economics and the Bible?
and he said to them, "i tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of god come with power.
(mark 9:1).
when you are persecuted in one place, flee to another.
This thread is about whether or not Jesus, as portrayed in the Bible, was a false prophet, not your personal preaching platform.
So far, no one has been able to show one specific thing Jesus prophesied that came true that required any type of special knowledge.
and he said to them, "i tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of god come with power.

The great tribulation being a one-time,non-repeatable event in hisory; a fairly local event affecting the Jews in and around Jerusalem and leading to their death or dispersion among the nations. The Sign to Flee Jerusalem’s Tribulation & Destruction:
Jerusalem was already occupied by forces and was often compassed by armies. Again, that was an observation of what was and had happened.
What specific thing did Jesus predict that came true exactly as he said that required special knowledge?
bible describes atheism as a condition of the heart and is all about seeking what is ephemeral, not acting with insight.
(psalm 14:1, 2) thus it rightly says the whole world is lying in the attraction of what is ephemeral.
(wicked one is not a correct translation.1 john 5:19) thus even believers who pray to god (for material blessings) are actually atheists as they are not trying to be poor in spirit.
Sorry to say that the kind of response you made just now does not befit the sincere searcher!
You should be sorry for even thinking that you have any ability to pass any judgement on my sincerity. Afraid has nothing to do with it. The issue is that you can't explain or even define a central tenet of your claims.
Why in in the world would I bother emailing you? If you have some knowledge, simply post it here in the light of day.
