Basically what you are trying to show is an inconsistency/ Contradiction but to what end?. If you really want to expose "WATCHTOWER" There are many more and may I say , more serious issues you could expose. See J.W.Facts for plenty ammunition. Good luck.

Why not try the old reverse phsycology. She believes, I presume, that all scripture is inspired and true, and that any good advice from the apostles should be acted upon. Quote her1st cor 13:13. Where LOVE is clearly put ABOVE faith, and that your love for her is unconditional So according to that scripture shouldn't she show love for you despite her faith? All the best to you.

Who Made The Code?
by Perry ina few weeks ago, discoveries were made that show that there is another dna code language that rides on top of the already incredibly complex 4-letter code previously discovered.
this newly discovered code apparently regulates how genes work.
as i noted in a previous thread, the amount of data storage available in the dna storage system just the size of a pin-head would filll a stack of books stacked from your driveway to the moon .... 500 times!

Why doesn't god do anything tangible now?
by punkofnice ini was always told that god did loads of stuff that was evidence of his existance.
ususally very brutal things too (b#st@rd).. jesus walked on water and raised the dead we are told.. it seems to me also that the older the story, the more exaggerated it is...y'know...talking snake......global flood.. there are those that claim god speaks to them now and they alone 'know' it.

Fhn Yes you are correct .I can only offer my opinion , which is based on where MY intellect carries me.. Do you know of anyone who would base THEIR opinion on anothers,? Ah of course the bible writers. ? It wasn't really their opinion but that of an unseen supernatural source. And so it follows all the way down the line until we are where we are today. by punkofnice inin case i didn't mention it...i was born into the disgusting cult of the watchtower(r).. i left when i was as old as 50 and went to a baptist church, then when i moved house to anglican and finally to a pentecostal church.. i now do not believe in 'god' of any variety.
i do not believe because i see no obvious evidence for a 'god' and only see what people have made of 'god' in their delusions.. ok. so, the question: 'what if you're wrong?'.
well, i might be wrong about a lot but if qi and mythbusters taught me anything it's not to be so gullible mcfly!

Is there not a scripture which says " of all these love is the GRATEST " putting love above faith .I believe in love you don't need god or to be saved to show it. And in my opinion its what makes for a happy fulfilled life.AMEN to love!!
