  Devolution, not evolution

  scientists discovered an organism that has not evolved in more than 2 billion years (http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2015/02/150203104131.htm) .

  one can dismiss this as an exception*!

  yet overwhelming proofs are too obvious to miss if we take the community as an individual (community is the reflection of the behavior pattern of the individuals that make up the whole).

  Abiather....your god given reason has served you well...but perhaps your god does not wish us all to reason as you do, there is always individuality and choice,or do you believe your god wishes us to reason as you do which begs the question why do feel the need to enlighten us with your posts. What do you hope to accomplish that your god can't do for us as individuals?

  Can the world condition be worse than this?

  the innocent civilians being attacked is the norm of the day.

  attacking hospitals too are happening frequently.

  now schools being attacked is becoming a regular affair (last of its kind massacred 150 children in peshawar on december 16, 2014)..

  Abiather.. the abilities of other creature which differ or are superior to human ability is no more than a testament to the evolutionary process.

  Puttiing yourself in the hands of an astrologer smacks to me of laziness, whatever happened to your own perceptions of studying the stars/planets and your own conclusions of how they influence your life , that would be diligent although  imo a waste of your time which could be better served looking for the positve achievements of humankind.

  Abiather.. I certainly won't laugh at your experiences, but there are clearly precedents which mirror your reasoning ,as there are which show the human brain can convolute to salve the disappointments and heartache in life, unfortunately the brain being a master conjurer can lead to a delusionary state which will appear to the sufferer as real. Focusing on evidence,facts and an open mind to reason and argument without a dogmatic stance is imo the best route to happiness. Reliance on the supernatural is the path of lazy ignorance.

  Hi abiather.. Thank you for the reply. Could you outline what form the goodness and beauty from the invisible hand of god takes in relation to your life?

  Your question does have a ' leaning 'in that it implies world conditions are getting worse,it therefore follows by implication that it is posed to prove  your premise. 

  Have you considered that ugliness may have benefited positively by the clothes of beauty.perhaps that's why the ugly clothing was discarded. There is always a benefit in seeking the good and assisting its progressive benefits individually and for others.

  Abiather...It seems to me your focus on these atrocities is to prove a point. Unfortunately your ' point ' ie that human behaviour in the present is getting worse cannot be based on cherry picking .

  If on the other hand if you must cherry pick, why not seek and find joy in the multitude of positive and good that is achieved for humankind. Perhaps you could post some of your findings in the ' positive ' category?

  however, it is recorded in the gospel of thomas (not in the traditional four gospels).

  jesus says: if the flesh came into existence because of the spirit, it is a marvel.
