ugh...now I'm getting mad

venting.... hubby visited with sil (with gotee intact), got the wt don't approve speech and the 'we've been missing you at the meetings".. he gave all the excuses he could for why we weren't there.

i'm at the point of just telling them the truth as why... but we will be giving up our grandchildren.

i just don't know if i can do it, give up the grandkids.

at the meetings i've noticed over the past 2 years or so brothers asking for 'special blessings' for the governing body.

it was everyonce in a while at first.

now it is almost at every single meeting!

this is difficult for me to discuss.

i love my wife and i live my family.

but since i became a jw i feel like ive lied more than when i was "worldy"...is it stress and the relentless pressure to do more?

Honesty is always the best policy with the JW's. Just tell them straight up. The guy up on stage is a delusional narcissistic fool. Your family and relatives will respond positive to that and probably quit on the spot. JW's are stand up guys and gals. They wear their heart on their sleeve. They always do what is right and honorable. You don't have to worry about that. It didn't work with my family and my marriage but there is always hope that honesty will help somebody else.

i want to get my mother in law dis enfranchised:.

1. for teaching and encouraging my children to dis respect me (their father) in my own house over a 4 year period while living at my house.. 2. for refusing to allow me (in my own house) to practice my own religion with my duaghters while she stayed in my house for nearly 4 years.. 3. for attending my childs 5th birthday party, on her birthday, at chuckie cheese, and then disrespecing the family by refusing to sit at the table with us to eat, but facing away from us at the table next to us.. 4. for constant and relentless ambient abuse and gaslighting of self in my own house over a 4 year period.. 5. for refusing to return to the philipines (her family) after multiple demands to leave our residence over a 4 year period.. 6. for refusing to abstain from teaching her jw crap to my children in my house despite my repeated demands to stop.. i could go on but you get the point.. not that it matters but my primary motive is to get my kids one step further removed from this pos cult..

I was never in the POS cult. I just said that JW's were highly deluded and batshit crazy. It was highly successful in helping the marriage survive.

Literature carts are the cruisiest way to preach ever - photo attached

it was a perfect spring day, and a jazz band were playing in the mall near my work.

in front of the band, two watchtower literature carts stood in solidarity.

i could not work out who were the jws attending them.
