What First Stumbled You?
by glitter inwhat was the very first thing that "stumbled" you?
mine was: i was about 5 or 6 years old and of course i used to find it really hard to find things in my bible at meetings (couldn't find the books quick enough before they moved onto the next paragraph and used to get frustrated).
i had the idea to make little tabs for the edges of the pages so i could tell where the books were - so i asked mum to help me neatly write out the book names on tiny slips of paper and tape them inside.

building a house, cost?

Take or leave it advice.
But my vote on this is to buy a pre existing house and or buy one that is a "pre-buy" in a delopeing neighborhood.
My first house, I had the pleasant surprise of knowing I needed an extra $10,000 at the closeing because the bank didn't figure in on upgrades in the mortage.
My second home, was bought from a drug dealer that got busted.
It's my dream home.
All the stuff that I would have debated in my head about:
Built in Bose system.
Some Bull*hit waterfall decoration do-hicky.
Remote controle bull*hit ceiling fan.
Black marble floors.
I got all of that and bought about $40,000 under the market. -

Drawing close to God in Prayer...

i found my prayers really were lacking.

It's hard, because I had to RELEARN everything.
Just think about it.
I feel the prayers that I made when I was in the WT were very "corporate prayers."
Not to say that there weren't times I really said good prayers.
But most of the times it was really structured. -

Basically, much of my prayers were very structured.
Today, though, I started off my prayer by saying this...
"Today was a good day."
Kind of makes communication a little more natural, huh??? -

According to Gore, the process is well under way (p.114), "There are test sites in Iowa, Minnesota, New Mexico, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Wyoming."
In 1974, a strange, new mark began appearing on products. Until today, virtually every product is now marked with that familiar UPC barcode. And there are three embedded numbers on every UPC barcode.

To Enumerate means to "ASSIGN A NUMBER!"
