No need to look at that list in my case. One of the elders in my cong follows an 18 year old pornstar in facebook, in his well know by everyone public profile. -

I don't want the Watchtower's version of paradise.
by StarTrekAngel ini am writing this in the hopes that it may help someone in a debate.
i personally have not had a chance to discuss it with anyone but that is true for most other topics.
i think is a good one to analyze.

LOL. Well, we may end up having to mark the Watchtower machinery with blood so that they will be spared. After that, the birds will begin eating the corpses and will poop a highly efficient manure that can be diluted with water and will turn into fuel. -

Do we have consensus that Mr Jackson was wearing a gold Apple Watch?
by StarTrekAngel ini mean, we have discussed mr morris' "rolex" but many also pointed out to the potential for a knock-out.
i don't think there are apple watch knock outs out there, are they?

Never mind.. answers to questions taken out of context will be ignored. I get it. -

We are actually talking about the natural aspect of the world, not the socio-economic. I definitely agree with you. The world isn't fair in that aspect. My point was to show that the same analogy that is used to prove the need for organization can be used to show that the WT version paradise does not go in accord with the perceived diversity of God's creation. -

lol. I think that whomever came up with the pilots analogy has absolutely zero understanding on how the pilot-co-pilot relationship works. I am not claiming to be an expert but I was a pilot when I was younger. The truth is that real denomination is captain and first officer. Both are just as qualified to fly the plane, except the captain used to have the last and unquestionable word. The NTSB has long ago suggested that such unquestionable obedience to the captain has led to many avoidable and disastrous crashes. -

Serious question about the Australian RC and the WTBTS.
by DATA-DOG ini have not been in a position to watch all of the interviews, so i'm sure that i missed a few things.
here is my question.
were either elders or ministerial servants accused of sexually abusing children, or were the accused just lowly r&f publishers or bible studies?
-
StarTrekAngel
At least one of the accused was an elder. They did not analyze every case. Just one of the most representative. Have you at least read the story? is crazy!

Please reach out to Te New Yorker
by Jonathan Drake ini have found an article on their website that moved me to contact them.
i share it here hoping more will contact in a similar vein and maybe we can raise awareness and tear down this propaganda.
i'm writing regarding an article about jehovah's witnesses and their blood transfusion doctrine, found here:http://tinyurl.com/pxku9dgit is clear to me, reading this article, that it's writer is either profoundly ignorant or profoundly biased.

I would like to see exactly how much of this bloodless medicine really came about as a result of the JW doctrine. I don't deny that it may have an influence but an entire medical field of research is not going to come about just because of you religious belief. Blood has always been a high demand organ with the difference that donating this organ can be done many times over by the same individuals. It seems just natural to me that the medical community was bound to one day come up with a replacement just like they are looking into creating livers and kidneys without a donor. So may be the group had a benefit from it but what needs to be pointed out is that the WT probably saw the way out on this bloodless medicine. They probably have know for sometime of the latent liability they have on the matter and that the only way out is to hope that science will finally catch up to the problem and release them from having to admit they were wrong and killed so many people.
Can I assume this woman is the wife of David Schaffer?

The version of paradise portrayed by the WT is very much known. We could probably draw it with our eyes closed. In WT teachings, this paradise as we picture it, is supposed to represent earth and life on it as Jehovah intended it to be. We are told that the time will come when we would work together to extend this paradise to all earth as it was supposed to be done by the first couple.
After growing a bit older and having the opportunity to travel more and learn more about the different habitats, I've realized one thing... I love this paradise just the way it is!!!. I would not change it a bit. I visited some beautiful places more than once and I've realized that they look so much different in each season. I've also realized that some of the natural forces that we may call "destructive" are also the drivers of change. The change they bring about can also be beautiful. They impact the land as much as they impact the biodiversity of the area.
But off course as a JW I also realized that what I like what Jehovah says is best can be quite different. Obviously that is a good thought stopping device, because I could not see some things that were right in front of my eyes...
Why then, considering the diversity of colors, tastes, smell, races and biodiversity, do we have to conclude that the earth should look the same everywhere? Why should it all be green have the same animals? Why the same weather everywhere? Would a God of diversity want the whole planet to be the same? or would it make more sense for it to change constantly? Why demonstrate such affinity for variety to then make a creation that would never change? Would not it make sense to use evolution and adaptation as a tool for creating a dynamic planet? one that changes and where humans can spent time in the wonderful journey of constant discovery?
If the above describes the earth as it is today, is not coincidence. I have to say that if you don't believe in God, that is fine, but I want your opinion on wether this would be a good argument to bring up to a JW
