Take the Kingdom back to Mexico!

if donald trump wins the presidency, about 90% of the jws in my area will have to go back to mexico.

the watchtower will be having a fire sale on kingdom halls.

if trump became president and he followed through on his policy of sending back undocumented immigrants, would that affect the jws publisher numbers big time in the united states?

Because not even the latter is true. They are not rejects of society. I know more illegals immigrants than I know legal ones and I don't know a single one of them who has turned a criminal. In the other hand, their relatives, the ones they came to meet here, are in prison (all legal by birth by the way). Mr Trump needs to stop hating. I am not Mexican. No, nowhere even near. I am hispanic by language but not Mexican. My wife, a Mexican-American, has worked in the fields since age 12, right along with all those illegals that Mr Trump alleges to. No one was ever raped or killed. They work hard and is because of them that we can enjoy a lot of the things we enjoy today at the prices we enjoy. They are hard working family loving individuals and some americans have a lot to learn from them. When was the last time you saw a hispanic asking for a handout at a stop light? May be selling stuff, but certainly not asking for money.

Most of those that are criminal, have most likely come escaping prosecution or as part of their shady business. Happens all the time and they are a minority in comparison.

We are celebrating b-day tonight!

not that we have not done it before, but the event would come about out a mutual understanding.

the news this time is that my wife, out of her own initiative, suggested this morning that we should go out and celebrate our daughters b-day.

On top of that, she said so in from of my mother in law, which denied attending the celebration under the excuse that she did not feel like eating restaurant food. May be my wife is more awake than I thought... time will tell.

Actually, I am in a spanish cong in South Texas and the only legal immigrants in that congregation, aside from my family, are the elders and their family. This makes about an 30% legal, 70% not so legal. Many have simply overstayed their visas and the only reason the number of legals is increasing in my cong is they are having children. It used to be more like 15% legal, 85% illegal. Not saying we are the norm, but it does happen.

It was easier to judge before the assembly hall was built. You just had to compare and find out who did not make to Corpus Christi or Houston for the assembly.

Wow! I am amazed at the witness provided here. There is no more firm evidence than this. These JWs here have provided new light and understanding on what Mr Jackson really meant. There is no need for factual and simple understanding. God never meant to have ignorants in the midst. If you can not understand this riddle you are not worthy of living.

Oh Wait... the bible does say that your speech should be easy to understand, doesn't it? The bible does say that people were perplexed as this apostles were to be common people, right?

Or may be it is just that Einstein's basic relativity applied here as well and he didn't know it. See, even the dictionary meaning of a word changes with your perspective doesn't it?

Do we have consensus that Mr Jackson was wearing a gold Apple Watch?

i mean, we have discussed mr morris' "rolex" but many also pointed out to the potential for a knock-out.

i don't think there are apple watch knock outs out there, are they?

There is only one Gold edition watch. The others are either gray or silver color. Is either a gold apple watch or is a knock off. Has anyone seen any knock off?

Life after the witnesses, friends, faith etc

hi everyone, this is my first post so go easy on me :) i have been a witness all of my life (i'm 37) and truly believed it until 3 years ago.

my husband and i had become spiritually weak and over time i began to question more and more until i came to the conclusion that the witnesses were not the true religion but just one of many religions and that if god is there then there are many paths to get to him.

anyway, i've battled with keeping going as my husband still believed and i didn't want to be in a divided household as we have a young daughter and thought it would be very confusing for her (and us).

The only thing I disagree here is faith. Blind faith can be defined as believing something without proof. In my own awakening process, I have come to realize that God does not demand blind faith. The definition of faith in the gospels talks about expectations for the future but the rest of the bible shows that such expectation does account for the positive experiences of the past. Is sort of like a spiritual credit score in my view. Credit score for God that is, not you.

so lately i've felt so frustrated and overwhelmed that i had to tell someone how i felt.

my parents were gone so i decided to talk to my sister.

we've always been close so i thought i could trust her because we have talked about it before.

Well, I guess I assumed that no JW would ever conceive that the WT paid for the watch. Most likely it was donated or a gift from a wealthy relative. Still a problem though. There is nothing humble about such display. First and foremost, I was trying to point out, for those that have brought this issue up before, that in the case of Morris, you could say it was a rolex knock out. In this case, does such explanation hold ground? Exhibit A.

Second, donated or not, the FDS, the leader of 8 million of JWs, can not go around stumbling others that may not be aware of how they get their perks. How would a victim of child abuse feel when he or she sees this? Is that giving a good witness to the world? No, it actually gives synergy to the poor witness he gave to the Royal Comission.

LOL. Well, we may end up having to mark the Watchtower machinery with blood so that they will be spared. After that, the birds will begin eating the corpses and will poop a highly efficient manure that can be diluted with water and will turn into fuel.
