The "inspired error" comes to be, based on his unparalleled insight, the teachings of the world. Higher education, among others. He clarified he was not going to cover them all but we can imagine what the other ones are. This is based on the words in revelation, where, at least in spanish, it talks about "demon inspired expressions" -

How can apologist not put themselves in our shoes for a minute and think what can happen to a marriage? For one side they say that there is no reason for divorce and separation other than fornication or mutual agreement (temporary separation). In the other side, they are always complaining that we won't leave them and their religion alone. We are free to leave right? How can I leave if doing so will make my wife remember our differences during such statements? -

So I was eagerly (add sarcasm) awaiting the CO visit this week. For once because is less work being at the meeting. I just have to sit down and listen. I don't have to pretend I am actually reading the magazine or anything like that. The other reason is that lately the titles of the talks are somewhat intriguing, and since the titles are announced prior to the visit, I usually wonder what kind of crap is he going to pull out. With some of the BS I hear about other CO, I am wondering when I will have to hear some of it from our local CO. This is a new guy. The last one made his 3 year round and left to another circuit. So here, for giggles and for some to consider, is a brief summary of what I got out of the visit.
His name is Daniel Con. Him and his wife went to the school for couple in 2012 and were assigned to server somewhere in Arizona until very recently when they were put in the circuit work. Since then, visiting our congregation was their first circuit assignment ever. So when I heard him say that I went like... Oh Boy! new guy! full of energy and eager to make a name for himself.
The title of the first talk was "Believe the inspired truth, not the inspired error". He referred to Rev 16:13-14. In the spanish version of the NWT, the word "inspired" is used in those paragraphs. He went about comparing the inspired expression we get from Jehovah against the ones we get from the world. He followed the fine example of brother Morris and started ranting against higher education. He said "the inspired word we get from the world under Satan's control tells us that we can not succeed without higher education. The inspired word from Jehovah says that we indeed need and education. He said JWs understand we need to go to school to have the basic skills to survive. Some choose to continue their education after HS for one or may be two more years. But that is it. Anything after that should make us questions our motives."
On Sunday, we walked in a little late. He was foaming about something related on how Jehovah makes us better people on how we treat our wives and children. No need to explain much more about the irony on such statements. The last talk was about parenthood. Here is where I had to use all my energy to stay in my chair. We were seating front row so I was no more than 15 ft from him. On top of that, I am glad the parking lot was full and we were parked in double line. That meant we had to get up and leave as soon as the "Amen" was done. He was seating right behind me and the rules of pretending would have dictated that I had to greet him if we stayed any longer. I would have choked the MF. He went on ranting about family worship night. He started ok but in under 10 minutes he began the twisting. He literally said that the bible clearly shows that Abraham must have had the custom of having a family worship night. He then attempted to explain it. Obviously everyone swallowed it. He then went on and on about the benefits of having it and how we should not miss it for anything in the world. That kids and wives may complain from time to time about being tired or had other plans but that if we were responsible men, we would not let them get away with it. (remember, a few lines above when I mentioned how we are supposed to treat our women). When I had it, was when he, a child less young man (forgot to mention he was fairly young), trying to tell the rest of us how to raise our children. He went as far as to state:" If you are the type of father who thinks about not pressuring your child into following the path of Jehovah, then that is the most absurd thing I've ever heard" and then his closing remarks partly stated "If you are the wife of a spiritual man who makes sure to always have the family worship, then I want you to get home today and give your man a big hug and say "Thank you honey!"
Lastly, off course, he had to remind the sisters:" If you are a sister in a divided household with and unbeliever, my kuddos to you as you perform both jobs, mom's and dad's". I guess if you are unbeliever, the food and support you bring to the house does not count.

What will 1914 (DROPPED) mean for you (EX-JW)
by John Aquila inlet's pretend this might happen.
im not asking what it will mean for the jdubs or for the organization, but what will it mean for you---- if one day you wake up and the watchtower drops the 1914 doctrine.. (you know at some point they have to, but probably not our lifetime).
if you are disfellowshipped or disassociated and have been shunned by your parents, by your children, by you spouse or ex-husband/wife, for years or even less, will you call your relatives and ask/tell them;.

I've read some comments in JW-Archive regarding 1975 that went like this... "Yes the prediction was wrong, but the organization ended up better off because it was cleansed of those that were holding themselves to a date"
Go figure.

Inspiration, inscripturation
by Doug Mason inthe apostle paul stated at 2 timothy 3:16: all scripture is inspired of god.
the phrase inspired of god translates the compound greek word theopneustos, meaning, literally, god-breathed or breathed by god.
this is the only occurrence of this greek term in the scriptures.

Review the definition of "inspiration" under jw-org. Wether you believe in the bible or not, it is not logical that a God inspired the writings but then allowed them to go mistranslated. -

My mom is about 1200 km from Santiago and she said all the light fixtures and ceiling fans were swinging back and forth. No one knew what the heck was going on. -

This is just sad. Texas muslim ninth grader arrested for bringing clock to school

Just to clarify. I was not trying to say that safety leads to radicalization. If anything, ridiculing a talented child at this stage in life for the sake of some widespread fear of ticking devices does to the kid, the same thing that burning a kingdom hall does to JWs. It provides further synergy for radicalization in the future.
If I may draw a parallel, is the same things a brand new (young) bible study who has just been warned that Satan is angry at his decision to study the bible. As soon as a relative ridicules or criticizes his decision, the study clearly remembers the warnings given by the study conductor, further driving the heels down in the mud. This kids does seem to be related to a muslim activist and may be (just may be) that is the reason the school reacted but we can't be sure.
There is some research into my comment, not just personal opinion. While I don't say the guy is the prophet of security, Bruce Schneier has some writings on such subjects. If you are interested, take a look at the book "Schneier on security". He sort of preaches "training/education over tracking/privacy breaches" when it comes to a security approach and he backs his research well.
