April is child abuse prevention month
by StarTrekAngel inat least here in texas.
in the building where i work, there is a big poster board and people are putting signatures down on it.
i was thinking about printing something similar to the billboard that was up in benton, tx and adding to the board.

Yeah I know... I just thought it was interesting that it did not last that long. The only problem is if it is another JW removing them, I can not risk getting caught at the moment. Not fully out yet. -

Well I did it. I did not want it to be flashy because the posterboard is fairly simple. Making it too flashy, I think, would defeat the purpose. I printed a small black and white paper. About 3 in by 11 in that read "Is there a child molester in your Kingdom Hall? Is a child molester knocking at your door? Would the elders tell you? Find your answers at JWFACTS.com. Wrote it both in English and Spanish.
less than 4 hours later, my papers have been removed.

Trump or Contested Convention?
by Coded Logic infor those of us who are hillary and bernie fans, which is the better outcome - to have donald trump as the republican's nomination whose unpopular with most americans?
or are we better off watching the chaos of a contested convention and the party eventually putting up someone weak like john kasic or jeb bush?

LOL at Outlaw.
I live in the border. I've driven by the current wall hundreds of times. Off course tunels are there but next time I go by I will take a picture of the wall and post it. You don't even need a lather to get over it.
The Bush wall actually caused the number of illegals running thru my town to increase. I have seen them get caught in front of my very eyes in my very own backyard.
The last time it was a car that pulled over and a lady took of running. The cops were chasing after her. She ran across my yard and had to crouch to cross my unfinished fence. If it wasn't for that, they would not have caught her as she was already out running them.

You are probably right. I am just trying to help by taking advantage of a poster board that has attracted quite a bit of attention in the building.
On top of that, there is a parking garage not far from here (About 2 blocks) where a lot of people go from here and there is a preaching cart there every day.

LoveUniHateExams. Is actually my mother in law... but not much of a difference. Being the only male in the family that is trusted with these matters is almost like she was my mom too. Would you mind sharing more of your experience, even in a PM if you so desire.
No pressure. Thanks

So my wife and her sisters found out this weekend that their mother has contemplated donating her home to the WT. She did not tell them directly. I am afraid she knew they would not agree. Is there anyone here with experience on this? How do the elders proceed upon being approached with such offer? I understand that in some cases it is possible for someone to hand over the property but still live in it. How aggressive can we expected them to get? I can make my own speculations regarding how money hungry the org is but I am, in this case, trying to see if there are any real life experiences in this forum.
My wife openly admitted I had predicted this would happen. I clarified to her that this move from her doesn't surprise me but that the WT would not hesitate on facilitating her desire. In her case is like giving a gun to a suicidal person.
Thanks

Prince died from overdose?
by TweetieBird ini just saw where the emergency landing that prince made several days ago in moline was due to an opiate overdose.
this came from tmz and sounded pretty credible.
if true, just curious if he would still be given a jw funeral, if that is what he wanted..
-
StarTrekAngel
As long as there was not two witnesses to the allegation, he should be able to get cleared, right? -

Prince could potentially have a JW funeral
by StarTrekAngel inthe question is, are there two credible witnesses to the allegations of overdose?
if i understand correctly from the research into child abuse, the medical diagnosis would not count as a witness.. was he baptized?
what year?.
