  why did they have to butcher the kingdom melodies?

  its not like there was anything wrong with them was there?

  i used to love the old ones.

  these new ones feel like the equivalent of a deflated balloon.. does anyone have the answer?.

  In retrospect, that was one of the first changes to the new JW.org and the killing of the religion as we knew it.

  how is it that some fade out of the org and others seem to be pushed?

  i cant figure out how some persons like my husband and son, simply got too 'busy' and gradually stopped going to meetings, and were totally left alone, and yet some persons.

  seem to indicate that people were constantly in persuit of them, for a way to disfellowship them.. the ones who fade never get 'disfellowshiped' unless they write a letter formally requesting thier name be of the membership.. just like the jw org tells people who get baptised to do to thier former church,.

  i havent been to a meeting in a few months however it is also under a 'remodel' im sure im not missed.

  My wife sees the lack of love and.. Any suggestions on how to proceed?

  in the past few weeks, my wife has been seeing more and more the lack of love and caring from jws.

  for example, she is organizing a "princess party" for our 4 year old daughter.

  a couple of the parents have expressed reservations about this since they think princesses may be "too magical" even though we know they have been to disneyworld, and watch the disney channel.

  hi everyone, this has been what i have waited for, fredrick mclean is up next on cnn's "most wanted" and "hunted show", so far two of their topics are dead!.

  last sunday's "the hunt" blew his head off monday morning!

  let's hope cnn get's jehovah witness fredrick mclean!

  The other day while I was working in front of a bank at table for the Center for Prevention of Abuse, two pioneers came to visit me. My son advertently told them where i was....he did warm me of their visit ;().... I felt sick to my stomach when I saw them walk up to me. At the time I thought it was a coincidence.

  "Oh, were you out in service?" I asked "Still am" the pioneer said. (Ew, can you feel the love????) They told me they missed me and I thought 'I haven't been at the hall in 3 years' yeah sure they miss me. (NOT)

  The public visit was tense. I am so glad I am not with them anymore. It just galls me that they are using me for easy time. Grrrrr! Also, since they saw me at the table for the Center for Prevention of Abuse, I’m sure the rumor mill will start up again. Oh well….I just wish they would leave me alone!

  i have been offline for a bit while implementing "phase move.

  " i just logged into jw.org to find out times/locations for local kh to choose from (needed for phase 2 ).

  after logging in, i find the usual options plus a new option i didn't know was added..... my preferences.

  What is this latest letter from the GB about?

  we have been told this week that all in the elder and ms body will be read a letter from the gb about "make this the greatest month of activity ever"..... has anyone else had such a letter read out in their cong / servant body?.

  i presume it will be all about "recommending strongly/insisting" that all these men should pioneer for the month?.

  Drama friday 2014 DC

  anyone seen the drama on friday ?.

  it was about a pioneer couple, when the husband, also an elder, lost his job, and borrowed money from a fellwo elder, who apparently was considered weatlthy.. the main lesson of the drama was quite ok, even though a bit overdone, touching on the issue of gossip and false assumptions.. but there were at least two subtle lessons, whitch were quite disturbing:.

  1) no matter what happens, remain pioneering.

  Maybe I was thinking too much about this....But the lesson was on assuming bad things to our brothers about money, etc. I was thinking the underlining message maybe not to assume that the WT is doing bad things with your money/contributions, because you don't really know....

  Speculation: Female Ministerial Servants coming soon

  ive no source for this, just personal speculation.. * there is a good case to be made that there were female deacons (ministerial servants) in the bible.. * there is a lack of qualified brothers for basic assignments such as microphones, accounts, literature.

  in some cases, elders have had to do double duty because of a lack of ministerial servants or qualified brothers.. * women outnumber men in the organization.. * there is supposedly a surprising change coming "down the pipe".. perhaps the only difference between male and female ministerial servants is that women will still not be allowed to teach..

  HI Londo, There is no way in hell they will ever allow women in any position of authority. That would mean that they have some respect for females. Since it is a good-ol-boys club and always will be there is no chance of it EVER happening.
