  while cooking lunch he turns to me and says, i don't know anywhere in the bible that jesus would give dates about the end coming.

  Magnum, very well put. Everything you said was right on the mark. I too, wonder daily 'What da hell happened?' The only consolation that I have is that I am out. It's all a crying shame. We used to stand surefooted and boldly. Now, we find we have been duped. Best to you and yours, 4thgen.

  examine the statements below: 1. the dt was within the 1st century governing body in jerusalem.

  take a look at the picture of apostles and elders in the "insight" book.

  I found the concept creative. Like a well done watercolor. I doubt we will ever know the true meaning of the scripture, but your comment showed an out of the box thinking. I'd love to see what would happen at the KH if you gave that explanination! The fur would FLY!

  the other day we went to our friends business to have our computer worked on.

  our friend was raised a jw but never got baptized and left when he was in his late teens.

  any way we started talking about the new jw.org and the new tv show they have.

  Gosh. So the stupid question "Do you believe that the governing body is ruled by god' or whatever the stupid question is, will be put to the test. If you don't show up for the TV show you are not showing the proper reverence.....so glad I'm out. What a bunch of crap! Yes, it's 1984!

  saturday mornings: sparlock cartoon.

  friday evenings: reality show featuring jw dating.

  Also, every hour on the hour there should be a frightening sequense on world destruction ...."this could be you' type of thing.

  For the cooking show, don't forget the 144,000 dressing, which takes the place of 1000 Island.
