  I want to start a website/ministry to help JWs leaving - how and why?

  i have plenty of tips on my older site on starting ministries or outreaches.

  though today they are now generally sites for public assistance, not personal blogs or opinion or doctrinal sites.

  free minds has covered doctrines, news, opinions, and more for 32 years (since 1996 online).

  Yes the 'soup' was one of the first i came across when i was looking for answers after hearing of the sexual abuse of my youngest.

  well i think the title says it all so expect nothing of any importance in the special dec. issue of the watchtower.

  to put santa clause in a good light would make jehovah very sad not to mention jealous, honoring santa clause makes this childish jehovah all jealous as he considers this an afront to his universal soveignty which gives him the right to destroy all false worshippers of the minor deity called 'santa clause'.

  and don't get me started about how sad jehovah gets when he finds some little kid has chosen a sparlock the magic wizzardkind or type of toy that might be in league with satan jehovah god's chief sadness maker.. jehovah wants to go on a witch hunt(smash those evil toys) and burn those sadness making wizzard toys, the governing body perhaps in the near future and still in this delusional state will pass a ban on kid toys and must pass the elder's approval list before you can even think of keeping them in your car or the holly kingdom hall owned lock stock and barrel by the watctower corporation ready to be sold out from under hard working jws to pay out child molestation lawsuit.. these criminals have no mercy for the flock and the children get santa clause taken away from them because of mean old corporate imaged jehovah..

  No toys for kids eh is that what they will be spouting? No lego, no airfix, no barbie, no electronic stuff, no skates, no blocks, no bats n balls, no frizbees, no tents. If this is announced I ask all our US in particular contributors to start phoning TV networks, newspapers. and if you are still 'in' and especially if you have kids, let it be known such an edict is wrong unhuman and cruel.

  Whats next wedding rings, cosmetics, high heels? Well, they already have imasculated the men.

  I am an Australian. I watched the speech by Dr. Carsen. It was moving as it was sound. He spoke of the need for education with an almost reverence.

  His mother , one of 24 children was herself married at 13. They lived in grinding poverty. She saw to it that her sons were educated by insisting they read two booka a week and then right a report on those books to her. She critically studied those reports to engender ever greater desire in the boys to read more on all sorts of topics. She also could not read herself but they didnt know that.

  He spoke of laws 200 years ago that said it was illegal to educate a slave particularly in reading..... why because reading liberated..

  Some of the comments made of his speech criticised him for 'having a go' (as we say) at President Obama. He was not having a go at him he was openly and decently referring to the probs faced by America today and that is the use of free speech for honourable purpose.

  Education is feared by those who would control. I leave this to you all to ponder.

  Maybe the girls who rebuffed this guy so often would now come forward at the funerals of the deceased to lay flowers.

  Death in the Family

  today my extended family lost someone much too young.

  my 18 month old cousin bryler fell in a swimming pool yesterday and was missing for several minutes before he was discovered.

  his mom and grandmother and several other family members performed cpr and tried to revive him while waiting on the ambulance (which took quite a while as they live in the backwoods of southern oklahoma).

  I take this on board. Reminds me of some of the prayers said at conventions where the pray-er proceeded to "Jehovah" us endlessly with "Jehovah" used every second word.

  i'm having an exam in mineralogy in 20 days and need to learn 120+ pages of content.

  i've learned a part of it so far.

  i'm just curious how did you/do you study?

  I am dyslexic and bi-polar and this was not discovered until i was well past youth and school exams that would fill me with utter fear. I learned from a kindly gent years later at exams:

  On the word go pick up the paper and read it through. Pencil mark the ones that you have instant recall on until you have read the whole paper over.

  The answer those 'easy ones' making sure you clearly number them. By the time you have done these you will have ploughed through alot of the paper. AND, you will have calmed down quite a bit.

  Look at the other questions and be surprised what you will now recall.

  The questions that you have a blank on--leave.

  Do the others come back to that real stinker last and write out just what you do know.

  Dear Lord i wish i had known this method all those years ago. Please let me/us know how you go.

  i was reading about the success of the kony 2012 video and was wondering if anyone would be interested in making a documentary to coincide with the international conventions and the 100 year anniversary of gods kingdom.

  the video would be less than 30 minutes long.
