Thats it, no apology, no "im sorry" or anything. and it was THEIR mistake, not mine. they should be looking for these things, they even ASKED me the other day when my birthdate is, yet still somehow missed it.
im really pissed off!

i just recently recently received this email (yet again) but seeing as i am a "transplanted canucker" now living in the u.s., this struck me as alot more funny now because of interactions with my new american friends .
1. you are not offended by the term "homo milk".
(yes, i was quite intrigued by the us term 'whole milk') 2. you understand the phrase "could you pass me a serviette, i just dropped my poutine, on the chesterfield.
You drink Pop, not Soda.Last year we went on a bandtrip to new hampshire. Whenever we went to a fast food restaurant, we'd ask for "pop" and somone would either says "pardon?" or give a really wierd look. After the first few days tho, we got used to saying soda, except eveyone would crack up laughing whenever they said it. "id like a soda please" haha.

about the witnesses.
i mean, what was the worst thing that happened that eventually drove you out of the "truth".
what person hurt you the most, and made you just sick.
If you turn your back on The Truth?, your three beautiful children will be better off if you take them out in the back yard and blow their heads off with a gun. That way they'll have a resurrection and they won't go down with you at Armageddon?.
*gasp*
i was never a jw, so i dont really understand a lot of stuff i read on here. this i understand....but i couldnt ever imagine hearing someone say that. or saying it to someone else. its' awful. it makes me feel like im gonna throw up.

thanks minimus, for posting this thread. i usually have a really hard time talking about this, and, i feel a bit better now, cause i cant tell my family what i think, because, they blame each other for the whole thing.
I guess, another thing, would be watching my grampie suffer for months before he died. and the last few days before he died, when he slept all the time, except when he would wake up screaming in pain.
and to everyone else who poster here, especially reboot (hug)

probably the hardest part of the whole boat accident though, was looking after my little cousin while everyone was out looking for them (she's 5) and hear her talking about curtis coming back, even tho i knew he already died, but wasnt allowed to tell her. but afterwords, my aunt wanted me to be there when she told my cousin that her father wasnt coming back. I will remember, those words, for the rest of my life.

Searchers find two bodies from capsized boat
WebPosted Jan 17 2003 07:38 PM EST
MORDEN, N.S. ? Search and rescue crews are out in the dark and cold looking for a third fishermen who disappeared Thursday. The bodies of two other men have already been found in the surf near Morden, N.S. "We're still treating this as a search and rescue and hoping that the news will be better for the third person," says Denise Laviolette, spokesperson for the search and rescue centre in Halifax. The three men, all in their 20's, were reported overdue in Margaretsville, in Annapolis County, Thursday afternoon by anxious family members.Their 39-ft vessel, Pretty Knotty, was found capsized later near Morden, in Kings County.
One body was found by a ground search team ? the other from the air by a military aircraft Friday morning. As the search continues, the community of Morden is trying to help in any way it can. Some people have been serving food to rescue crews and distraught family members since early in the morning. "We are just generally trying to keep everybody warm and fed while they are going through their terrible tragedy," says Marion Lee.
This happened in January, my uncle and cousin were the 2 fishermen's bodies that they found, they were 22 and 28. The one they still havent found was my uncle's brother in law. This is definatly, the hardest thing that ive ever had to go through....my family is still incredibly torn apart.
I guess my second one, was one of my friends threatening to kill himself, and asking me to kill him, and threatening that if i didnt, he'd kill me.
thats my story
