Since you aren't baptized, I hope you'll take the opportunity to do some real research about the history of the organization that wants you to join them.

Maybe you haven't covered this in your studies yet, but it's important for you to get the answer to this question before you commit to the organization.

The Watchtower Society says that the Faithful and Discreet Slave Class was appointed by Jesus Christ in 1918. At that time the Bible Students still celebrated birthdays, Christmas, and Easter, and still believed that Jesus died on a cross instead of a torture stake. Apparently they were found by Jesus Christ, out of all the other religions in the world, to be the ones who were worthy of being appointed as the Faithful Slave. With all of those "pagan" trappings - things that would result in a modern day Jehovah's Witness to be disfellowshipped for apostacy - how on earth would they ever qualify as being acceptable to Jehovah?

I hope you can find someone in your congregation who can answer that question for you.

    Love, Scully

Tyrone, God help you find the truth before you committ your soul to an organization, and not to The One True God. I understand they have changed the baptism to include "Father, Son and Holy Spirit and remain loyal to the Organization?" Am I right? Does that not constitute adding something to scripture, of which there is a severe punishment?

ps, when threatening other's with God's vengence, a "decent burial" is probably not such a scary thing.

hmmm.... those are very strong words daystar. And whats sad is that i can realy relate to everything that you say. I can relate to the mistreatment, the hurt feelings, the uncompassion that you have talked about,

Yes, and I see it as very strong indication that the WBTS is NOT Jehovah's Organization. I know you knows these scriptures, Matt 7:15-20:

15 “Be on the watch for the false prophets that come to YOU in sheep’s covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. 16 By their fruits YOU will recognize them. Never do people gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles, do they? 17 Likewise every good tree produces fine fruit, but every rotten tree produces worthless fruit; 18 a good tree cannot bear worthless fruit, neither can a rotten tree produce fine fruit. 19 Every tree not producing fine fruit gets cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Really, then, by their fruits YOU will recognize those [men].

Why do u think that Jehovah is going to clean and judge his very own houshold first before he judges the rest of the world?

The problem here is that while you believe that the Jehovah's Witnesses (read WBTS) are Jehovah's household, many have found that they are not.

"WOE TO THE SHEPARDS WHO ARE DESTROYING THE SHEEP OF MY PASTURAGE! IS THE UTTERANCE OF JEHOVAH. (JERIMAIH 23:1)

Yes, woe to the Governing Body for misdirecting the sheep of His pastures. How it is that you might hold individual Elders responsible for the gross wrong-doings of the Governing Body in its complete misdirection of His Household is beyond me. It is difficult for me, now, to understand how one can be so blind to this.

when you turn away from Jehovah and adopt APOSTATE ATTITUDES the scriputre says that it would be better if that one have never came to know the truth.

You are making assumptions. You assume that because a person has turned away from the Apostate WBTS and it's false prophets, the Governing Body, that they have turned from Jehovah. I can assure you that this is not the case.

where else are we to go??

Well, that is a good question. And one we hear over and over and over again, as if there is no place to go. Again, it's based upon the assumption that the WBTS has the Truth of Jehovah, a false assumption, in fact, a lie. The Truth of Jehovah does not lie in an earthly organization. Where else are we to go? How about away from Satan's false Organization called Jehovah's Witnesses and into Jehovah's true earthly realm of His children? That would be an excellent start!

My FAITH sustains me. My loyalty is not to the WTBS but it is to my GOD AND FATHER. and i try to the best of my ability to hold on to what i have untill he arrives.

Your faith in Satan's lies are what bind you. Your loyalty, if you remain in Satan's earthly organization, is precisely to Satan. He's quite wiley to get people to call him by Jehovah God's name. Would not that be the perfect trick?

I know that I will not be able to convince you of anything at all. I won't waste my time. You are enslaved to an evil, despressing, entrapping, destructive religion, and I feel very sorry for you. I was there. I believed it all just as surely as you believe now. I was very, very meek. I have come to realize that it was Jehovah Himself who saved me from that trap of corruption and evil called the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society publishing company and its religious department, the Jehovah's Witnesses.

I have a much, much better understanding of who Jehovah is than I ever did as a Witness. You and others will deny this, I am certain. But that does not effect me.

I will pray to Jehovah that you and your loved ones may find the strength someday to escape the clutches of the Harlot Babylon (The Jehovah's Witnesses), which she most assuredly may be called, especially given her now well-known ten-year love affair with that Great Beast, the United Nations.

Don't take anyone else's word for it. Begin looking to your own backyard, use discernment, question, research, try using only the bible rather than the publications from the WBTS. There may be some surprises for you and they just may set you free.

I was never a JW or a member of any other religious group, but I will say this,

The bible is the word of god because THE BIBLE says so.

The wbts is gods channel because the WBTS says so.

Prove either of those two statements without using either the bible or wbts literature and I will listen.

The two questions asked publicly prior to baptism only mention the "spirit" in connection with its role as to the organization.

w85 6/1 p. 30 Subjecting Ourselves to Jehovah by DedicationAt the close of the convention baptism talk, the baptism candidates will be in position to answer with depth of understanding and heartfelt appreciation two simple questions that serve to confirm that they recognize the implications of following Christ’s example. The first question is:
On the basis of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, have you repented of your sins and dedicated yourself to Jehovah to do his will?
The second is: Do you understand that your dedication and baptism identify you as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in association with God’s spirit-directed organization?Having answered yes to these questions, candidates are in a right heart condition to undergo Christian baptism.

The old questions were somewhat different:

w73 5/1 p. 280 Baptizing Follows DisciplingAfter considering what has been published on the preceding pages, if you are one who has been learning and you wish to observe the commandments of Jesus Christ, what should you do? Peter reminds you that the way is open to you; Jehovah wants you to come into harmony with him: “Jehovah . . . is patient with you because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance.” (2 Pet. 3:9; see also 2 Corinthians 5:18–6:2; Revelation 22:17.) After the Ethiopian had learned from Philip, he asked: “What prevents me from getting baptized?” (Acts 8:36) If you feel the same about serving Jehovah God and taking Christ’s yoke upon you, we suggest that you consider the following two questions, which are asked of candidates for baptism:
    (1) Have you repented of your sins and turned around, recognizing yourself before Jehovah God as a condemned sinner who needs salvation, and have you acknowledged to him that this salvation proceeds from him, the Father, through his Son Jesus Christ? (2) On the basis of this faith in God and in his provision for salvation, have you dedicated yourself unreservedly to God to do his will henceforth as he reveals it to you through Jesus Christ and through the Bible under the enlightening power of the holy spirit? If you find that you can answer “YES” to these questions, then it would be appropriate for you to speak to the presiding overseer in the congregation of Jehovah’s witnesses with which you associate, with a view to getting baptized. Following baptism you too can look forward to having a share in the worldwide discipling work with the blessing of Christ Jesus, who promised to be with his followers “until the conclusion of the system of things.”—Matt. 28:18-20.

u accuse me of being unchistlike, but have you read through the same posts that i have been through? Its funny that you guys come on here and say whatever you want about Jehovah's CHOSEN organization, you mummer just like the ungratefull isrealites did against moses and what was the punishment for that? Jehovah made the whole people of isreal rome arround the desert for 40 yrs untill that whole generation was extinguished. They did not get to see the promise land nor did they get to tast its milk which gives a strong warnning of how Jehovah feels about those who speaks against his representatives. . You come on here and u redicule and downtalk and speak harsh word against the organization (which you call the BoRg) and you have the audacity to correct me for what ever harshness that i may have said defending my GOD and his ORGANIZATION. May Jehovah rebuke you, u never have to worry about any harsh words from me again. was i harsh.... maby, but thats better than standing by and not taking a stand for the truth.

    Jehovah's CHOSEN organization

Tyrone, you have been asked to demonstrate that Jehovah chose any organization. I'll ask it again. If your rants are based on a belief that is not supported by the Bible, then please have enough honor to admit that. Otherwise, demonstrate your point with more than chatter.

Lady Lee started a thread just for you: Tyrone one on one with Lady Lee

She asked that no one interfere with the discussion. People who come here, even the lurkers, come to this forum because they are looking for basis. It is an opportunity for you to demonstrate whether there is substance behind your words or whether there is only baseless venom. If you wish your views to have any credibility with any poster or even any lurker here, I suggest you take her up on her offer. Otherwise, your words are wasted because they are baseless.

Tyrone why does God need representatives?

Furthermore, how do we know that those representatives were in fact selected by Him?
