No, I think it's childish that you feel your friend is incapable of telling this person herself and needs your protection. I think making threats to someone you don't know is childish. I think you're being condescending and insulting of female intelligence by coming on here in the guise of protecting women, thinking they don't know to take the precautions any reasonable person takes. Your threat may make you feel like a big man, but it will do nothing to deter anyone from doing what they're going to do, and you need to check yourself if you think you're helping anyone by making posts containing gossip about internet personas. How the hell can you say it is mere gossip ? have you read my pm's or listened to my phone conversations ? Do you really even know all that has happened that caused me to make this thread ? NO you have not. I will not reveal who was involved because it is not my place to do so or at least not without discussing it with the other person or persons involved. For me this is a serious matter because it involves someone who I am emotionally involved with. How would you feel if you were involved with a female and this female tells you that a particular person was a female but then this person later acknowledges that in all reality they are a male. Would you not question their motive ? I do. This is how children get molested and women raped. Maybe this does not bother you, but it does bother some people and after all if you had been sexually molested in the past you might understand a little better.

Oh, give me a break. Of course we care about people. But tell me, how should we act when you make wild accusations and threats, and you're not even naming anyone? This is rediculous. And, further still, all you're even accusing them of is lying about their identity. Heaven help us if everyone who lies about their identity on the Interenet is a sexually perverted rapist. Sheesh!!
