-----------------My husband likes to go to bed early between 10 and 10.30 pm. He gets up early so I dont mind, but he wants me to go with him. Sometimes I dont but tonight I did,cos he hates going by himself ahhhh

Anyway Ive just spend an hour listening to him snoring so loud even the ear plugs arent working.

Its so frustrating, I could have slept, but no chance. So here I am back on the computer waiting for it to stop, if it ever does tonight !

It doesnt matter if he sleeps on his front, side or back, it just goes on and on, getting louder and louder, has anyone got any remedies ( that dont include suffocation) ?

I have no remedies for you, but I am glad he fell asleep and you were able to sneak away.

Breathe right strips did the trick for me.

You may consider scheduling a sleep test for him. One of the symptoms of sleep apnea is snoring. Another is always feeling tired. It nearly killed me several times due to my airways collasping when I was sleeping. A CPAP machine is quiet and most insurance will pay for it.

Just make him a 'snore room'!

My wonderful husband snores from time to time and it makes me so crazy. It usually has something to do with the way the pillow is bunched up under his neck. I usually try to adjust the pillow.

It is worse when he is really tired or sick.

Have you thought of getting your husband to try the breathe right strips that go on the nose. Some people swear by them...

Good luck with trying to rest!

My b/f is a shocking snorer too.

Sometimes I lie there just wanting to go and sleep on the futon but think he would be offended so instead I just lie there suffering... sigh.

But its weird sometimes he gets into this whle snoring routine and then he just stops - like he isn't even breathing - then he starts gasping for air and goes back into his snoring routine. It worries me.
