161 miles from where I was born and 1822 miles from where I was brought up.
My family moved around a lot when I was a kid. Going to where the need was(n't) great, escaping from congregation politics etc..
I am still surrounded by JWism though.

About 160 miles from where I used to live. Sometimes I miss 'em though.
I moved from Missouri to California at the age of 20 in search of a "mate". I just KNEW if I stayed in MO, that I would never find anyone and I didn't want to be one of those sisters that were in their 30's and still not married. Well, I didn't find a "mate" in CA either. I was df'd at 22 years of age.
Tomorrow I will be back home...it's been almost 2 years this time. Last time I was there I still thought I was the one that was wrong.
Yeah, I can relate to that statement! For 12 years after I was df'd, I still thought it was "the truth". I started deprogramming 9-11-01. I've been back home about 3 times since then. It gets harder every year.
Im only living a short ways away due to going to school. Though I hope to do graduate studies somewhere else. Moving up to school was ultimately good in that I didnt have to tell people anything about me if I didnt want to. Unfortunately however I didnt find that it was possible to escape the influence of an anti-social background.
Born in Boston... while I was a dub I lived in New England, California & Florida. I'm back in Massachusetts now, about 15 miles from where I grew up. I'm a New Englander at heart... no place else felt like home. I very rarely run into any jws... Life is great...
