personal responsibility....steal a car...risk innocent lives in a high speed chase...run from the police...jump over a guardrail without checking if its a bridge.....pay the consequences.

BULLSHIT. There may be some personal responsibility involved BUT WHY ARE YOU AND OTHERS glad some teenagers are dead? Also may I remind you they were kids?

We had one here in Indiana last nite. An 18 year old who apparently killed his girlfriends' parents in Penn. They came thru Indiana after the crime. They were in a chase that ended in a less spectacular end, and are now in custody and headed back to Penn today I think.
They don't know if the girl was an accomplice or a kidnap victim.
Re the kids killed in SD; I hate to see life end like that - those kids were criminals, but too bad they are dead now. They have no one to blame, but still the parents will greive for a long time. Sad.

BULLSHIT again. If you've never been there (that situation) then I don't expect for you to understand. Let me tell you that even going to school and working after school while your family is living below the poverty level isn't going to prevent you from desperate acts.

You bring up them not looking where they jumped...a good smaritan in WA State trying to help someone on the side of the road nearly got run down by a crazy driver. He jumped over the railing on the road and fell 40 feet to his death. Should he have looked first? Was it his own fault?

On reading the original news item in this thread I laughed long and hard, then I went out and bought some champagne and baked a cake. Some parasites are dead at their own hand, as it were? woopee!
I'll save my compassion for the victims of crimes, not the perpetrators.
It does sadden me though that they didn't fall into thorns.
