ha ha, yeah i knew quite a few of them... except they got married really quickly.. and them pop, a baby comes out six months later... hmmm, i guess witness elders couldnt do the math..

Getting pregnant, then disfellowshipped, then reinstated seemed to become almost a rite-of-passage for the young sisters in one cong I was in.

Baptized, 1976, Not pretty. Bug eyes, wore big blue eyeshadow. Buck teeth, huge hips, fat, fat legs. She was a couple of years older than me. Had a baby. Nobody knew she was pregnant. Including HER. Disfellowshiped. Reinstated, I saw her nursing in the restroom, I said how cute baby was, she said proudly, that, she didn't even know she was pregnant.
I thought, "We all know."
Think this is an isolated case? NOT. My husbands neice, goes out to hospital with stomach pains, and gives birth 30 minutes later. My mother-in-law was in bed sick for almost a month. Finally MIL went out to lunch, her first day out, who should walk in, her son, weird wife, their daughter and her baby. They were carrying the baby in a little washtub. MIL left in horror, and went back to bed for a week. LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

I remember a girl who had been studying and coming to meetings for quite awhile. She always wore tight clothes and pranced up the aisle to her seat. Well, she started wearing the same dress to every meeting--not maternity but not like the tight stuff she usually wore. I remember thinking that she looked pregnant and mentioned it to the one who studied with her--got chewed out for that!
I was right--she was pregnant by a brother! She also made it very obvious that she had a thing for my husband--SLUT!

I remember two sisters who were best friends. Both got caught fooling around with their boy friends. One got pregnant and was DFed while the other was reproved.
Sounds like the two in my cong who were only 14 and 15. One girl babysat for me and I was told by her Mother she could take care of my two children while my Hubby and I went on a weekend vacation for our aniversery, Well, low and behold if she didn't have her worldly BF over with her best GF and her BF for some wild party in my home. I didn't know any of this until much later when her GF got pregnant and both her and the baby sitter was disfellowshipped. My kids were only 4 years and one year. I stopped going to that KH. When we moved away I faded away from meetings. When I think about it...I get angry.

Honesty
It took a long time for the KH to reaccept her back into the flock. Here was a girl who literally did nothing wrong but walked down a street and was attacked. How's that for love and compassion?
Most JW's have no love and compassion because the WT corporation promotes a 'love' that Jesus never taught.

What shocked me was an occasion when a single sister had gotten pregnant by a single brother in the congregation. She was told that she would have to be public reproved because her "sin" would be publicly known in the congregation when she started showing and he was privately reproved, because his sin was private (translation: he wouldn't be pregnant).
The girl's JW parents tried to negotiate it with the elders that they would move away so no one would know...but no, they had to make it public.
This was about the same time the other sister whose father and uncle were elders, showed up pregnant, and nothing was every announced.
I wonder why I stuck around as long as I did after seeing these things.
