Y'know what? If she'd let the baby go hungry and it was crying, some idiot probably would have reported her to Child Protective Services for neglect.
I hope she files a human rights complaint against the police officers. They should have told whoever made the complaint to mind their own damn business and let her feed her hungry baby.

When I was breastfeeding in public areas, people were actually gross enough to suggest that I feed my baby in the bathroom. Yuck! I wonder how many of them would take their plates and go sit on the toilet to eat their lunch.
Someone actually suggested that to me once. And I told them that unless they were ready to pick up their meal and eat it in the bathroom, my daughter was going to take her meal at the table like a normal person. And then I complained quite vigorously to the management and said my next step was to write a letter to the newspaper. We got a free dinner that night.
