Two weeks 'til DA day?

  I care very much I know what it was like to have two week time they would let me know I was kicked out & was about to lose my family friend etc Hang it there .... I dont know what happened to my previous post but it didnt show up???? praying for you NOT to lose your family hope they have more love than the WT

  Don't do anything rash, AuldSoul. Think it through; those DF'd for apostasy or DA do not get back in soon, if ever.
  That said, I can relate to what you say. There is a real bind in knowing the truth about "the truth"; there is no longer any way to be honest and stay a member so you can talk to your family.
  It gets harder and harder; I don't want to be shunned by extended family, but I cannot be honest about things I think are important.

  mouthy, my dad's PO and we have four generations on both sides (big families all around) where roughly 90-95% of generational descendants are still active Witnesses. Not much chance of my getting to keep my family. They have already all but disfellowshipped me.

  Pistoff, I know there'll be no going back. But, I wouldn't want to. Why would I submit myself again to an illegitimate authority that stands between my family and their savior?

  ((((AuldSoul)))) hang in there. Your about to embark on a pretty rocky journey. I hope that you come out of it okay. In such a short time you have made yourself known well on this board. You have offered support and I hope that you get that some support back. Take care of yourself.

  Auld Soul ... all the best , mate .. Take care . I understand the hardship of a rift between family. I also know that there is no other way to go. Once you know what we know, it is not possible to take it up again

  Personally, I suppose I am lucky because nobody takes any notice. My wife knows exactly what I do on the net, but is wise enough to keep quiet. If they ever come for me, my attitude will be to give them a run for their money. Why hand it to them on a plate? I would hold them to judicial meetings and an appeal, take up their time and have my moment - even though the outcome would , no doubt, be a fait accompli..

  but each to their own ...
