I say, expose the Faithful & Discreet Slave doctrine for what it is---A FRAUD, and you will shake the faith of a real Jehovah's Witness.
I agree. The tower might not collapse completely, but I think the foundations would be shaken.

Danny, please elaborate. I'm not getting your gist...... Mr. Shakita, I like your points! The problem with the FDS stems with Russell. All WT. theology pointed to CTR as the "Slave" or "Steward". Tracing this bullshit from its inception, it's easy to see that the WHOLE who or what pictures the "Slave" is seriously flawed.
The bottom line is this:
To remain a Jehovah's Witness and keep your family from treating you like a leper you must believe that in the year 1918 or 1919 (they're not sure) Jesus appointed a Brooklyn printing company run by an alcoholic attorney as his sole respresentatives here on earth.
Personally I find the story about Joseph Smith and the gold plates a little more believable!
Two points can be made.
1. Why aren't all the 8000 "annointed" functioning as part of the FDS why is it that only 10-20 (and for a very long time before just one or two supposedly "annointed") are receiving all the inspiration, and why are they using non annointed as part of the FDS when there are thousands of "annointed" supposedly suitable for that purpose?
The answer is of course that this a multinational corporation that has to be run by people known and trusted by the real owners and not any outsiders. Nothing spiritual or divine there. It's the way of running a business, a very mundane organisation.
2. If the WTS truth keeps for ever changing then it can not be the real truth because the real truth is eternally unchanged. Only the naive JWs say things like: we are in the truth and we alone have the truth. It is a very queer sort of truth that they have.
"Jesus found a remnant that was struggling to do God's will" (Mt.24:14)....Per Sir's thread of elder school. That's it?? No one else was "struggling" in all the world?? No other group? No one?? Please.......... And the beauty is they can't say WHAT they were saying was "truth" or accurate. The only thing is they were "struggling" to do God's will. Their preaching was certainly not the struggle because they did not want to go house to house. The vast MAJORITY remained as Bible Students eschewing the "apostolic" method of "preaching the good news of the kingdom" since 1874!
Hi Hubert!! I seriously believe that once a JW sees that it's only a stinkin' parable, it's all over.
If the FDS doctrine was so important, why is it only mentioned in one scripture - ONE FREAKING SCRIPTURE? They've made a parable an official core doctrine. The FDS doctrine has been one of most talked about subjects in WTS literature, but is only mentioned once in the bible. Clear indication that the whole thing is BS.
The appeal committe reviled me with the charge of CAPITAL offense and let my DFing stand for my calling into question the integrity of one of the elders (good ole boy flunky).
They said that he had been "appointed by the FDS at the direction of the holy spirit".The entire Watchtower superstructure (1919 144,000) rest on the bogus FDS dogma
But who/what really is the faithful and discreet slave? If you can't identify them then you must realize they're made up. The Watchtower admits that not all anointed REALLY produce the food at the proper time. Yet by their own definition, they dispense it. Yet if you're not in Bethel on the Writing Committee, both "anointed" and eartly "great crowd" recieve their food at the same time. Where is the provision and dispensation of new light and food at the proper time coming from?? An anointed brother or sister in Brazil or Africa?? No way. IT'S ALL A SHAM!
