England - United?

I have no problems seeing that people can find American "football" an exciting game. It is. If I knew the game better, I would appreciate the subtle details more. Even though those 10-second-spurts of action followed by 10 minutes of advertising gets boring in the long run.

But, Jay, don't go along calling NFL "football" and assert it has more claim to this name than what you call "soccer". In fact, they use their hands more in European Football than they use their feet in American Football. By all means, it's a nice sport if you need lots of breaks to catch your breath (spectator or player), but it should be called American Handball. That is what it is.

Rugby is the real tough game, though. Non-stop. The American players may be equally big and tough, but they could not last a whole Rugby game with practically non-stop action, because they're not used to it. And they'd throw the ball the wrong way!

EnglishMan: The question can be easily answered. England would win, hands down. Btw, we already knows what happens when Liverpool plays Manchester United The good guys win, and the scum are left sulking. Haha.

The exception being Pompey who've never been known to play football!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry, really. I tried to resist the fatal temptation that your set-up line gave me, but I just couldn't.

    A shame-faced Duncan.

The United States has, for almost 300 years, been able to keep drunken British soccer hooligans from swarming our shores.

OK now you've got me going!

Whose that calling Man. United scum?
Are you a scouse lover? you can go on about beating us, but your double win over United last season didn't stop the Title going to Old Trafford yet again, with 5 games to spare none the less. And as for the Charity Shield defeat, we also lost that the last three years and walked the Championship each time so you can keep it.

And before you start going on about Liverpools treble of the "Worthlesstons" cup, Uefa Champions Leagues Rejects/Failed to qualify cup and the FA Cup and now the Charity shield, I'd like to suggest that if Liverpool win any more Mickey Mouse Trophies they change the name of Anfield to Disneyland !!!

Pubsinger. . . Red through and through!

Oh and Englishman, United would murder England because we have a system and a team spirit. Sadly lacking but hopefully getting there under Ericsson.

    Pubsinger,

Well, Matey, I'm not a Man U fan. But nothing will stop me watching them play, because they are absolutely superb.

And yes, Manchester United would beat England, even if it were possible to have a Beckham playing for us as well.

: Whose that calling Man. United scum?

They are scum. They play good football, by all means, but that doesn't change the fact that Beckham & co are scum. Beckham himself in particular. Great talent, why does he have to be such a wanker?

If Liverpool is "mickey mouse" for winning the FA Cup & Charity Shield, what should we then say about ManU who lost the same trophies?

Just to explain to the non-soccer fans. David Beckham is a mid field player who excels for Manchester United and is nearly always chosen to play for England.

He comes across as a bit nerdy, however he married Posh Spice - Victoria - and loves his little 'un by her.

He is a World class soccer player and is an absolute master at kicking the curving shot.

Yes, but can he have a bad hair day?

BTW Eman, you haven't answered my question!

    Hi JanH!

Love your website! pity your views on footy are crap!
But thanks for sending us Ole Gunner.

    Are you a Scouse fan?

United LET you win them! The Title is already ours. Thats the main thing. Champions League is a bonus, although I think United will be really going for it.

Don't get me wrong, I love arguing with Filthpool fans!
I just want them to go 27 years without a Championship, thats one more than United did, and I'll die happy and laughing!

I had to suffer as a kid all through school while Hanson, Dalglish, Rush, Barnes and co ( oh no I feel sick at the thought of them all!) were winning everything and now it's payback time and I'm loving every minute of it!

11 years gone, 16 to go!

And by the way, How do you pronounce Solksjaer?

And if Beckham's a wanker what are this pile of shite, Traore, Smicer and that reserve goalkeeping, handballing barsteward Henchoz?!!

    OOOOOH I enjoyed that.
