The ones that are in live double lives i was born in 3rd generation 1957 to a hard core missionary, special pioneer, servant clan and they worked and spent every dime on service.
This is how i was indoctrinated along comes the 1980's and 1990's and they are mocking me as a geek and nerd. All the sacrifice done by myself and family was for nothing.-Danny Haszard

The numbers seem to back up my thesis on the previous page.
Look at what is going on in Western "countries" where there is no influx of immigrants. For example, Puerto Rico, Alaska, Bermuda, etc. All are dropping at a rate faster than -1%.
Without hungry, economically desperate immigrants to swell the ranks, the numbers are dropping precipitously.

Have you SEEN the sisters in the spanish congregation? Beat me over the head with a bat. I think i'm gonna have to report to the nearest spanish congregation and serve where the need is great.

Same for Central-Eastern Europe where immigrants are few and wide apart and the JWs have been around for a while (Poland, Czech Rep. Slovakia, Hungary, Romania).

What a joy!
Brazil had an increase of only 2%, which is a 50% cut from last year (4%).
Just think about this: as recent as 2000, this number was 5%; and as recent as in the 80's this number was in the double digit domain.
Brazil has finally been introduced to the Information Age! :)
But Mexico got smarter: It's now in the 3rd place in number of dubs, having only 1% increase over 2004.
Jehovah has greatly blessed our work!

In real numbers it's not that much of a cut, because we're not talking percentage points here, right? Still I hope the Brazilian 'brothers' are in fact getting smarter, because so far they've been generating the biggest numbers of converts.

"This good news of the Kingdom WILL be preached in ALL the inhabited earth for a witness to ALL the nations"Except for Bangladesh and Pakistan of course!!! The angels will just read all their hearts before destroying 99% of them.

Yes, I feel for these unfortunate unsaved souls. On the other hand, how will Jehovah treat my poor elderly non-JW great aunt (in her nineties and still going strong) who has tolerated the JWs door-knocking all of her long life and still said "Thank you, but No, I'm not interested".
Will this heavenly monster dish out an extra bit of vengeance before he obliterates this wonderful old woman who has repeatedly turned the JWs away?
Will he make her aware of how badly she has behaved compared with the souls elsewhere in the world who have never had an opportunity to even say "Thank you but No, I'm not interested."
I can't believe I used to believe this absolute childish rubbish!
