Since so many people are posting here, it would be nice if the responses could begin by naming the person responded to. That way, it doesn't look like a very badly garbled chat room conversation.

Ballistic was referring to the people who were just having fun in this thread as "fluff whores" meaning they gravitate frequently toward threads that contain fluff. Fluff, in this context, is light, airy, very relaxed, teasing, and/or mildly sarcastic chatter. Background noise at a party where you are trying to have a serious conversation would be a good comparison.

Ballistic was reacting as though the girls who were chattering and playing frivilously at the party just knocked over the punch bowl onto his $400 Persian rug.

But, ballistic had some very good things to talk about posted, and I would also like to know your responses.
