Just tonight I was telling wifey that "dogs and cats are some of the best people around."

My dog Lady is in love with me. She is not a little dog [part Lab] but she loves to sleep on my lap when I watch the telly. Often she snores so loud I have to turn the volume up. Wifey won't let her sleep with us, or she would. Wifey rules!

Gotta love the girls in my life.

We had a Lab/Rottie (scamp) cross, he couldn't figure out if he really was tough or just like to eat.

Deogie just likes to eat! When it got hot, he didn't want to eat, so I started mixing canned dogfood in with the dry to get him to eat. I should have known better, but I was desperate to get him to eat. It worked, too well. Now, he won't eat at all unless there is can mixed with dry now. He's a very smart dog. He's manipulated me from the beginning. I don't know what I would do without my boys.

All 4 cats and the chihuahua get hugs and kisses. I haven't started on the 5 puppies yet because they just arrived Saturday morning.

I have a Basset and a Bloodhound and yes i give them smooches but try to avoid getting licked by them, since their butt's seems to need their constant attention

I don't like dogs that lick. Mine tries to lick my face and I am faster than he is. However, I do kiss my kitty cat all the time -- she is an indoor cat and both my husband and I hug her (she doesn't like it much) and kiss her. She is a sweet kitty. I do not kiss my outdoor cats, but they do get lots of hugs.
