I still hear a number discussing the King of the North prophecy.
When the Soviet collapsed the prophecy was shown to be a hoax, as that was supposed to be the last king of the north. Regardless, JWs are waiting to hear who the replacement is, as the King of the North is supposed to turn on them at the time of the end.
This is what I understand they are waiting for as well. Recently, while cleaning, I came across a card my mom had given me the last time they had the special tract placement, the one they were only supposed to give to those that were sincerely interested, can't think of the name right now, but I have one in the cupboard somewhere. She explained how close to the end we were, and that there was only one more prophesy to be fulfilled, the King of the North. BB
