3. Disfellowshipping and shunning changed or done away with.
That would be awkward...as well as the death of the religion...

No cheating, Jeannie. I use that flipflop doctrine in my reviews frequently along with the one on organ transplants, the resurrection of the people in Sodom and Gomorrah, and screaming required/not required during rape, quite frequently to illustrate the vagaries of the holy spirit in its operation on the WTS.
Maybe this is prepping for the new release at the DC?
Actually, you may be right Gary. Paragraph 21 says:
"Accepting a change when it comes and adapting to it can be difficult," admits one longtime elder. What has helped him accept the many refinements he has witnessed in the 48 years that he has been [a Dub]?
"...Having the right attitude is the key. Refusing to accept a refinement is to be left behind as the organization moves ahead. If I find myself in a situation where changes seem hard to accept, I reflect on Peter's words to Jesus: 'Lord whom shall we go away to? You have sayings of everlasting life.' Then I ask myself, "where shall I go away to---out there into the darkness of the world?' This helps me hold firmly to God's organization."
Paragraph 22 says in part:
"....As Jehovah continues to shed light on his people, the gap between them and those of the world keeps on widening. What does this light do for us? [it then gives a weird illustration of a pothole in the road and how Gods word shining on it doesn't remove pitfalls].
"...Let us then continue to pay attention to Jehovahs prophetic word "as to a lamp shining in a dark place."
So ya, when some announcement comes from the platform that may shock or discourage Dubs in the not too distant future, they'll be reminded of this WT study and New Light and how wonderful it is that Jehovah has let the Slave Class know this, yada, yada, yada..............
4. Women can be elders and do everything men can do.
Jeannie Love your answers!!! That's hilarious...!
But such an interesting point from Gary... I wonder what they are going to change their minds on now... Can anyone find the article of a similar nature that they studied before the generation change doctrine?
1. What have God's people experienced as a result of increased spiritual light from the Jehovah?
Nightmares and depression.
2. What arrangment went into effect in 1919 and how was it beneficial?
Oh, Oh, Oh, I know this one. Jesus came down and picked a group of antichrists to represent Him on earth.
3. In 1931, what resolution was adopted and how did that affect the Kingdom-proclamation work?
The Judge started sneaking bootleg whiskey into Bethel out of Canada and that's when the BS really got whacked out in the WT literature.
4. In 1972 what arrangement was instituted and why was that an improvement?
The brothers were encouraged to sell their homes and pioneer so they could stay alive til '75.
5. What arrangement was implemented in 1976?
Total and absolute denial by the WT Empire that they had anything to do with the 1975 Prophetic Lie.
What refinement was introduced in 1992 and why?
I don't remember because the cognitive dissonance was getting to me on a daily basis.
In the 1920s, how did Jehovah illuminate the path of his people doctrinally?
Up until 1926 it was a good thing to celebrate the birth of Christ on December 25 but the Judge took care of any joy they might have realised.
What doctrinal truths were clarified in the 1930s?
Aluminum cookware will screw your life up so you had better listen to what the Faithful Discreet Slave tells you or else.
What increased light was shed in 1962?
Receiving an organ donation is the same as cannibalism.
3. Disfellowshipping and shunning changed or done away with.
I hope so because then I can be more open when exposing the WT Lies. might even visit a kingdom hall or two to be welcomed back with open arms.
In 1995 they first covered problems caused by the change. They did this in their April 15 article explaining there IS a difference between sheep and the great crowd.
Then the new light article was in May 15 Watchtower, the change of the judging of the sheep and the goats in Oct 15, and the generation change in Nov 1.
I bet somewhere they already told us what one change will be in a "deal with the problems first" article.
I didn't read any answers yet, I just want to see how well I do on the quiz. . What have God's people experienced as a result of increased spiritual light from the Jehovah? -----new light doctrine, oscillating 'truth' What 'gods' people have experienced is mass confusion, depression, break up of families, etc.... 2. What arrangment went into effect in 1919 and how was it beneficial? ------Jesus supposedly chose Russell as fds, all other churches are of Satan. Beneficial because now they have an exclusive club run by God Himself. 3. In 1931, what resolution was adopted and how did that affect the Kingdom-proclamation work? -----they adopted the term, 'Jehovah's witness' 4. In 1972 what arrangement was instituted and why was that an improvement? ---changed the way the elder system works? (and hinting at 1975 by then) 5. What arrangement was implemented in 1976? ----denying any wrong doing about 1975, more changes in elder arrangement? hard line on df'd family members What refinement was introduced in 1992 and why? (starting to work on the change to take place about 1914 generation in 1995?) In the 1920s, how did Jehovah illuminate the path of his people doctrinally? ---said Abraham, and other's would come back to live in Beth Sarim, illuminated the path by use of angels putting the thoughts into Rutherford's head What doctrinal truths were clarified in the 1930s? --no beards? Russell was not the fds, now a two class system, two hopes-one heavenly and one for paradise earth What increased light was shed in 1962? vaccinations ok? Can't think anymore, too much homework help with the kid tonight. Now let's see how I did. | |
Gary, I had to laugh out loud at that. "Women can do all things that men can do." Good one!
Did you see the woman firefighter on "What not to Wear"? She was wiry, and built! I imagine she could pick up half the guys in her squad and carry them up ten flights of stairs.
