Osama Bin Laden says he's willing to call a truce.
Bush Administration says, " In a pigs eye, Kiss @$$ !!! "
Is he manipulating the situation to his advantage, or does America have him on the run?
He's tired and realises that the U.S. will hunt him down to the ends of the Earth.
Till the last man standing, if necessary....or
does he have something else up his sleeve?
I think he has no where to go. He is the most hunted man in the world right now and he is very evil.

Truce....riiight.....he's wanting the US to give up looking for him. He's pandering to the masses and will continue to do so until his personal wealth and protectorates give out.
Who cares why he is offering a truce. Let's see what he has to say and go from there. The sound bites and bullshit we are getting from the media are no way to judge the situation.
It's a good move from OBL. It's a win win situation for him.
It makes him look like someone that you can reason with, hence he gains some political credentials and credibility.
If his outstreched arm is rejected, when the next load of US citizens are blown away, the public will ask the zionists why they didn't take the deal?
If you can't protect us make a deal.
If they negotiate with him then he wins again.
If they kill him he wins anyway because now he is a martyr and the cause will continue.
He know good and well that NATO can not take his offer. So he is in a win, win, situation
The idea of making a truce with binLaden is ridiculous. bin Laden can no more control those who are presently attacking our troops in Iraq than Yasser Arafat could control the various Palestinian factions troubling the Israelis. A truce with him would do nothing more than strengthen his power and reputation with the radicals and would do nothing to end the violence, while making our country look even worse if we tried to retaliate against individual units attacking our troops. bin Laden would say, "But those were factions not under my control, we cannot regulate the feelings of the people." While any action on our part would make it appear that we were breaking the truce.
I think you all have alot of different theories, that are crediable too. But nobody knows his intentions, but him and Jehovah. If he is not allowed to speak, we will never know either. I think a truce would be Bush's worst nightmare, and he will never allow it to happen. nor will various arms dealers. There is too much money to be lost by peace. I would be nice to hear him live explain what has been going through his head. It would be an awesome experience! it is too bad some dumbass flunky will off him before we get to hear the truth.
