During the week if I started to have a good fantasy I would stop and tell myself to save it for the meeting. Mostly stuff about pop stars or cute brothers. I didn't want to wear out any good ones.

Other than that it was routine stuff:
How can I avoid Sister Blab-on-and-on.
Can I figure out a way to walk past Bro Available and show off my new outfit.
I better pay attention and try to understand this stuff.
Maybe I should try to be more "spiritual" so Bro Available will notice me.
I better answer before the meetings over so my mom won't be mad at me.

After I realized it wasn't the "truth" my thoughts became more desperate:
How in the world am I going to get out of this mess and live my life?

Was a true believer, but hated the meetings...couldn't wait for them to end...as for what went through my mind? Nothing. I zoned out...was there in body only...

I'm pretty convinced that it was many years of zoning out at meetings that's made it so difficult for me to concentrate on anything these days.

Conventions though, always in a big stadium... I must have been pretty bad for the last few years because I would be imagining hanging myself from the rafters, and after jumping working out whether my body would hit the floor or just swing....

I used to think about how I needed to get out of there as soon as possible so that I could go for Sunday brunch, play tennis or go out to a local bar or Chinese restaurant. I averted many elders' meetings by taking care of my business during the meetings.

I would look at all the boys.(or fathers)

I would think about how to do my hair the next day.

LOL, I remember those days. Man, the WT study was so damn long. Then the last question would always be answered by some know-it-all who wanted compress the entire study into one 5 minute comment.
