I purposely acted like I misread your post so I could make a funny.
I don't give talks any more. For 15 years I gave 11 one hour talks per week when I was in the teacherin line of work. Now, I don't talk to anybody. Even my family has to send e mails if they want to communicate. (Note: the last two sentences were BE)
While I've got you on the line, I do wish that you and old what's his name, oh yeh, teejay would read Heresy of the Month and Our Sunday School Lesson. They would brighten your day and make you forget the deep sorrow you feel over the egregious conduct of the uppity woman known as Ginny Tosken (not her real name by the way - you see I am in the know)
Would go you back to that other thread and tell teejay, that I am not going to post over there any more? He hurt my feelings.

I figured as much. That's why I ignored it. Actually I read some of that stuff. I'm not too much into that type of reading, though. No offense but I think it lacks substance. I don't really find it all that funny either. Sorry.
I don't feel sorry because of Ginny's conduct. I don't count her as a friend or even an associate for that matter. She's not uppity just dishonest and calculating. Those characteristics cross gender lines. It's all about the person on the inside really, Larc.

Larc, just curious, do you look anything like Homer Simpson? When I read your posts I almost immediately get like that blah, blah, blah blah, thing going. You are the only poster that affects me that way.
Anyway, due to that effect I glossed over the statement you made above. I appreciate your attempts to be bilingual and all, but the proper way of speaking to today's youth would be to misuse the word learn.
For instance, instead of saying I'm going to class. I might say Alright y'all, I'm bout to go get my learn on. Ya feel me Larc? In light of this it might have been more proper for you to say: For 15 yrs I used to talk a whole lot tryin to help these fools get they learn on. I spent a whole lotta time tryin to told them fools how to do the damn thing, ya heard?

I have written plenty of substance, e.g. the dynamics of JW suicial thoughts, Free Will versus Determinism, and JW decline. Read it and comment if you want to comment to substance. Also, if you want great substance and humor read my Sunday School lesson. Son, I have had substance all my life including peer reviewed research publications. I also enjoy humor, and if it wastes your time don't read it. When you take the time to make comments on subjects with substance I will read your work as well.

I think you must have reading comprehension problems. I cited several topics that have a great deal of substance to them. If you want to come back with a snide remark regarding the reason for your unfamiliarity with my work that is your perogative. However, I think the reason that you have not read these is a a certian amount of intellectual laziness on your part. Other than your shoot from the hip comments about the costs of raising children, I can't recall any intellectual content in your posts. You also are absent when it comes to giving comfort to new ones here or comfort to someone like Farkel whose father is near death.
The only thing you seem to be good at is getting into a fight.

All of your comments to me have been full of snide prejudice and condescension. What in the hell makes you think that I would want to read anything authored by you? I doubt seriously if anything of benefit to me would come from reading your posts. However, what's interesting is that you have the audacity to assume that it would or that your writings somehow contain the substance that I'm looking for.
I think you should have stayed a jw Larc one day you would have made a fine addition to the Governing Body. I think you've mised your true calling.

Thanks for that observation. Now, tell me is it mandatory that all those who post here welcome with love and open arms all the newbies? That sounds a lot like the love-bombing that goes on inside the Tower. Yeah, they're welome here alright. That is until they make the mistake of disagreeing with a certain few posters.

Now twice, in the post above, you wrote that you did not have interest in the subjects I post, then you said that my posts don't have content. Now, bibboy, don't you see that as a contradiction? If you haven't read my posts, how do you know if they have content or not?
What subjects are you interested in anyway? Just let me know and I will serve up a verbal gourmet meal for you.
Now, you said that my posts to you were, "snide prejudicial and condescending". Well two out of three ain't bad. They were snide and condescending, but not prejudicial.
