    Good point!

Do you avoid the cracks or intentionally step on them?

Zen koans are another method of opening up the mind, but what I'm suggesting here is a modified process of direct question and response.

There is a pretty good record of an Indian Yogi(Swami Rama), being tested at a famous clinic in Minnesota (Mayo?) to demonstrate his ability to control his pulse rate. He showed that he could make his heart beat at any rate the tester specified. In casual conversation, the tester asked him if he could stop his heart completly. Swami Rama promptly complied, much to the horror of the tester. There was a mad scramble for "crash carts" for several minutes but, just before they were to put the "paddles" on, Swami Rama restarted his heart. The interesting thing was that he was able to describe in some detail what was going on in the operating suite on the next floor above and in the next room.

    One man's opinion:

Oh I know some of the arguments, and I can't say that I necessarily agree with everything this man says here, or elsewhere. I simply present this as an alternative opinion on the subject.

He would say that, now, wouldn't he?

Now how about addressing the topic?
