It shows great disrespect to her father to confront him on his choice of reading material.
This is his business. Its not a sin against God. Its a human need and desire and he needs to deal with it in his own time.
Little girls should not meddle in their father's sexuality.
And she should not snitch on her father to the Kingdum Hall elders.
This would be totally inappropriate in this case and a subversive act of treason towards her father and she may pay a heavy price, the loss of her father's trust and affection forever afterwards.

I told you already I wouldn't jump eagerly on a discussion about pro/con porn as it is a wide field of discussion and if somebody is interested, they can go on and search the Internet on it, there are good sites that do a better job than this board in analyzing the deeper psychological roots/effects.

I agree that great sorts of porn are disgusting and draw people to committ childabuse for one instance, but then the WT defines porn as ANY picture that shows naked skin.....if somebody looks at a plain naked woman, not having sex, no nothing. Just the human body as it is, it is defined as porn. Evil, and the person is a pervert that could end up disfellowshipped - cut off from relatives, and so on. I don't think this is the way to go.
If we follow your line of reasoning than we could as well end up with a neo-victorian view of ANY SEX being dirty and sinful (catholic churchs influence). Than you start picking up other topics as if a woman should wear this or that, show her neck, etc.etc. What do you do with the ones that are on one side of the scale or the other? Torture? Burn on the stake? Disfellowship and shun?
You see where this leads? A can of worms....by the way, again i agree that some practices degrade woman AND man, but remember that porn depicts both sexes, too.
But, stay with the topic: Should this girl go and hand out her father? Should she condemn her father as being a pervert?

no, this would cause far more harm than good - other people do not need to know about this. We all know elders that can't keep their mouths shut. I would disagree, free will is relative. I have free will to quit my job, but that would make me a non-provider for my family. Restraint keeps our free will in check.

Point in case: Some friends watched the "Titanic", and one brother who hosted the video fast forwarded the picture of the her in the nude while she was being painted.

The only reason to look at porn is to satisfy sexual desires without a relationship - porn is selfish. The girl has every right to confront her father, just as the father has every right to confront his daughter if she did something wrong.

I agree with it being a private matter. It just really bothers her, she cant even make herself say porn, she says "Naked women" or "Bad pictures". I'm going to tell her what some of you guys said about her dad losing his position and it eventually effecting her and the rest of her family.
